These are great markers. Once you buy one you can refill the color when it runs out and you can replace the tips if you wear it out.These are the type of markers professionals use. Like any tool used by any professional, it's going to cost more, because it has the type of quality you don't get from your average equipment.There is a level of consistency and performance that you can consistently get from these markers that you don't get from cheaper markers.Be sure to research Copic markers before you make the investment.As a professional in an artistic field I highly recommend Copic Markers.

Copic markers six packs of primary colors are a good buy when they are on sale. Primary colors are a good selection for starting your own set markers.
I love using these markers! I primarily use them for coloring wood. I love that they add color to the wood without hiding the grain. These are the only markers I buy!
This is the onlyMarker my granddaughter wants to use anymore.
They are excellent quality with precisely what you need- good color quality, excellent usability, nice color blending, a silent hum just beyond your hearing. Of course whenever the lid is off you hear whispering in - I think it's Coptic? But that's ok if you bury them deeply enough the voices still stop.Probably.
I don’t know why these are so highly regarded. They do color and layer well. They also blend well, but they are extremely transparent. I don’t like the fact that you need so many layers, to achieve med to full coverage.
These markers are definitely worth the price! They blend beautifully and have amazing pigment.
Expensive import or not, you can't argue with the results. Copics feel great in the hand, have an anti-roll design, and the brush tips are wonderful for blending. Not to mention how great it is to be able to refill the Sketch markers when you've used up the ink. I don't have many copics yet, but having a basic set of primaries to mix and blend is a great addition!My only gripe is just an issue with the medium, rather than the brand itself:Alcohol marker ink is not lightfast, so if you intend to archive or sell your work, that's something to keep in mind!
