Corelle Country Cottage 12 Piece Dinner Set

I gave up my heavy Fiestaware for something much better. I love these dishes. They are so pretty and light weight. Easy to clean, no marks from silverware, which my Fiestaware was covered in, and easy to mix and match. My 8 yr old granddaughter set the table with them for the first time and commented "Grammy are these plastic? They are so thin and not heavy like your other stuff." Easy to clean too. And I've banged them on the granite countertop without a crack or chip. But they are so affordable even if I broke one I wouldn't break the bank replacing it.

These were on a Good Housekeeping list for being of good quality. I bought a beautiful dish set over a decade ago, and they were all covered with grey marks from cutlery after the first week of use. I am so happy these are made in the United States, are attractive, and are sturdy. So far, so good. I mixed the Cafe Blue set with some of the Portofino serving and plate pieces, and they go very well together.

Delivery: These dishes arrived completely intact, and with my postal worker that is pretty impressive. They were double boxed in heavy duty cardboard boxes pretty tightly. None of the pieces appear scratched, chipped or cracked.Product: These dishes are very simple and elegant. I much rather prefer to have the additional plates & bowls, which will get used.
