We've had it for awhile and we use this set everyday. They're sort of the t-shirt and jeans of dishware- casual and solid. So far no nicks but I have a silicon mat in the sink and hardwood floors. They survive better from a fall if you have softer things for them to bounce off of. My daughters love the heart flower patterns and I was happy to note that the half tone dots they use to create shading in the leaves were tiny. Easy to clean and light enough for smaller children and the elderly to handle. We have both in our family so even the larger plates are used. I bought two of these sets because we didn't really need or want the mugs.

I love these dishes and the promotion I received from an email made the sale a no-brainer. The dishes themselves have a simple, pretty design. They are durable and fit my home life to a tee. No easily broken dishes! They hold up well and unless you really "WANT" to break them, I am pretty sure they will withstand every day abuse. I am a long time corelle owner and for everyday dishes, I wouldn't have it any other way!

I love Correle for many reasons. I love the Beautiful Designs, The Light weight design because I have injuries in both hands and wrists so I tend to drop items without notice so I am unable to carry heavy items as well as "Glass/breakable" objects, and Correle allows me to have pretty Kitchenware that is very durable and lightweight!! It may not sound like a big deal to many people but it is to me! My Cupboards have been filled with ugly plastic plates, bowls and cups that are rippled(from being heated in the Microwave) and just plain colors with no designs. I finally feel like I have a pretty kitchen once again!!

This product is shockingly lightweight. I love the fact they stack without filling the cupboard. As another reviewer said, they do seem to be not perfectly flat when you stack them..but it's not by much. This set (18 piece) came with small plates, dinner plates, and bowls...the bowls and smaller plates were almost too small. My kids have been using them. When I got them... I noticed two imperfections in the surface...a brown spot on one plate, and an "almost" chip on a bowl. I called the company expecting to have to mail them back, and they said just toss them when I get my replacements - which they sent out promptly. So, even though they were not PERFECT when I got them... I am very happy with how it was handled. I plan to buy a larger number of these as we have a ... MoreThis product is shockingly lightweight. My mother is still using her 40 year old original green flower design set. When I got married and bought dishes it was Corelle. I got rid of my dishes when I moved and needed to buy new. Corelle was the only brand I considered. It wears very well. I bought the 18 piece set because I did not want the blue mugs. I wish I could get the original green design like my mom has, but......I got this because of the price and because it does have green in it and the blue it subtle.
I love my new dishes! They are very pretty and easy to use. I have had Correle dishes in the past and used them for years. I like how light and durable they are. It took me a long time to pick the pattern that I wanted. I finally settled on the Country Cottage because of all the accessory pieces that are in the same pattern and they also match my kitchen. I used to have a set of stoneware dishes and the Correle dishes are so much lighter and less bulky.
Love the pattern & dishes BUT I received 5 not 6 dinner plates. A 2nd set ( different pattern) I received 5 instead of 6 bowls. Both sets were in well- packed sealed boxes. Hoping to get this resolved or I will have 2 incomplete sets. Would recommend the dishes but not the shipping
This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to add to my dinnerware without adding coffee cups. (I have plenty of those.) The dishes arrived quickly and in perfect shape. They were very well packaged to prevent breakage. Definitely one of my better purchases!
We have been married for over 35 years, and Corelle sets have always been our first-line dinnerware. I even bought Corelle before I married. After more than 20 years, we upgraded to the Country Cottage set, and rounded it off with mugs (depends on how many you need), saucers, salad plates, assorted serving platters and 1 quart serving bowls. Very happy with our purchase!
I am a big fan of Corelle & was really excited to buy the "country cottage 18-piece Dinnerware set" directly from the company. The dinnerware set arrived intact, but when I was washing them I noticed that several of the plates had scratches on the back. It also seemed like there was some sort of transfer from the object that scratched them (e.g. a dark line from some sort of pebble maybe?). This was a bit disappointing as I bought them directly from the company.
