I received the Corelle 18 piece Dinnerware Set, service for 6 through the TryIt Sampling Community. We were expecting the Northern Pines design and instead received the Splendor design, which is square versus round. Absolutely love these dishes. I like that the bowls are microwave friendly because I use a microwave often and always run out of bowls for that. They are just the right size for serving snacks like chips or popcorn. The dishes themselves are big enough for a normal dinner size portion, and the saucers are handy for putting the bowls on in case something drips out of them. These are holiday friendly quality, ... I am enjoying my dinnerware. I chose Correlle because the dinnerware will not crack or chip. It’s tough! Also, I chose solid white for its versatile uses. I can decorate with colored, patterned napkins and tablecloths. Adding other items like flowers, table runner, sprinkles, etc. All of this can bring color into the table setting. Loving my dinnerware!

I wanted dishes that would be durable and safe for the kids to use. I was also looking for a timeless, yet modern design. I prefer the quality and look of an older Corelle set that I have that has a subtle wave design in addition to being white, whereas this set is just plain white, and the finish seems a bit more bumpy and cheaper than the other set mentioned. I will still keep it because it is better than serving food to the kids on/in plastic.
I was in need of new dishes. The set I had several had broke and mismatched dishes wasn't very eye appealing.When this set arrived I was so excited because not one piece was broken. No faults, design is flawless on every plate. When stacked they lay perfectly no jagged edges or any imperfections like some I have owned. Very eye-appealing. Space saver and I really like that no matter what holiday/occasion it is they fit. Easy to clean and light but durable. Overall I am very pleased & definitely recommend the Corelle_Brasserie 18-piece Dinnerware Set.

They nest so well that four plates together don't add up to a lot of space, the pack doesn't rattle in transit (i do put one paper towel between the plates), and I don't have to worry about breakage! Unlike melamine, which may be as sturdy but is not as personally satisfying as the laminated glass of Corelle is, it can go in the microwave and even the oven! What other product can you say that about! The practicality alone makes it stand head and shoulders above the competition! I enjoy setting a nice table, eating off good plates and using S/S utensils. I am indeed very pleased!

The tiny little black checkerboard pattern on the rim of the dishes is beautiful and classic and goes perfectly with my silverware and glassware. I bought 2 of these sets I have had many sets of dishes over our marriage. I received a set of white corelle when we married decades ago. And still had a few of the plates in my cabinet and we always reached for them. I'm taking out most of my heavier peices and replacing all of it with these sets. I also found the cups and few coordinating pieces. I have a lot of Fiesta and I'm keeping a few serving dishes for color. While it has held up well I'm replacing it with these go to lightweight light dishes. I love them and great deal from Macy's. Got 2 sets for what one set usually cost, for gatherings. All arrived intact. None broken, which can happen but not this time
When we bought these plates, they were amazing! Loved the simple look and being able to use for every day and holidays. We have had these plates for three years now, but it seems like longer due to their appearance. The plates and bowls have chipped, warped, and show scratches. The glaze on the bottom of some are also fading and changing colors. These dishes are a good bargain, but they won't hold up unfortunately.
This correlle dinner set is THE BEST! They are such low profile with high quality. 5 Stars all around. The bowls are my favorite because of how they fit in the dishwasher, stack so small, and have perfect portion size for cereal and snacks. The plates feel so thin and lightweight but not in a cheap way. They all stack great in the cabinet, saving space compared to my other brand. I can feel the texture of the pattern on the outside of the bowls, I think this is what prevents the bowls from sticking together when stacked. I’m not sure if they will scratch off at all over time.
