Pros: The RAM performs as expected, I get everything I need from it. My PC performs very well in games (but this also depends on other components) and I never need more. I have can have Discord, Spotify, games e.g. Destiny 2 and multiple chrome tabs and there is no noticable drop in performance. Would definitely recommend.Cons: The speed that it ran by defult on my system was 2133Mhz. I noticed this in task manager so went to the BIOS to up the speed. It may seem daunting but was really easy and quick to do. Slightly annoying that it didn't run full speed (2666Mhz) first time but it could have be due to the motherboard or CPU so I don't want to blame the RAM exclusively.

Fast ram at a decent price that isnt flashy it just works

Most ram these days include lifetime warranty, but you also get what you pay for. These ram look and feel high end and overclocking ram doesn't give nearly the same results as overclocking say your cpu or gpu, but there is results to be had i guess. 3000mhz out of the box is fairly high and while there is room for overclocking it's not really needed unless you were absolutely strapped to get every last performance out of your system. Ryzen compatibility has been a struggle since release just make sure your bios is updated and you should be fine.

Good bang for the buck

for a 32GB stick this is an awesome value. Sure, I could be using faster ram to squeeze the most performance from my system but I'm not after the most speed; I'm looking for the most stability. I currently do a lot of media editing and accounting and can often open up files that can crash systems with less than 32 GB of ram. I'm intending to get another stick next month.

Pros: Decent ram good enough for some low - mid end gaming and multi tasking with the right setup.Cons: price is a little on the high side especially for 3200mhz but I should have checked with the motherboard manafacture as that was what limited me to this ram

Need Memory? Like Corsair? You'll be Happy!
8 September 2017

I have 2 desktops in my office. Mine and one that the kids and wife use. This kit went into that second one. It's definitely a bit overkill as even while playing games on it and having multiple users logged in, memory usage never goes past 30%. But, it's always better to have more than you need. In the end, it's memory. Not a lot to say outside of you get what you pay for and here you get a low profile high performance 16GB kit that won't put a hole in your wallet. There are a few other vendors that I could recommend but if you like sticking with Corsair than add these to your cart; you won't be disappointed.

Pros: Worked straight out the box at the rated clock speed. Low height very handy for modern heat sinks and has a good sized heat sink, giving cooler operating temperatures.

Terrific memory, worked well in Intel and AMD builds.
28 August 2017

I admit that I am partial to Corsair memory and have been purchasing their memory since the days of DDR2, it has been reliable and consistent. This memory is no different. Currently I run 2 main computers, one is a new AMD Ryzen build with an X370 motherboard and 1600X and the other is an Intel i5 7600K build with a Z270X motherboard. The Ryzen pc actually has Corsair LPX 3200 ram already installed in it and the Intel build has G Skill 2400 ram. I was interested to compare how the ram worked in both computers. I am happy to report that it worked perfectly in both builds when XMP was enabled, although due to the memory straps in the Ryzen build, CPU-Z reported that it was running at 2933mhz and not 3000mhz! I am happy to report that it worked perfectly in both builds when XMP was enabled, although due to the memory straps in the Ryzen build, CPU-Z reported that it was running at 2933mhz and not 3000mhz! It was running at Command Rate of 1T in the Ryzen build and 2T in the Intel build when XMP was enabled, but to be honest performance remained very similar regardless of command rate. I was not able to manually set command rate to 1T in the Intel build, but the memory was running at 3000mhz according to CPU-Z. The memory was correctly set at Cas 16-18-18-36-54 in both builds when XMP was enabled. The memory was rock stable, no issues at all. The heat spreader was probably unnecessary as the memory remained cool to touch in both computers. I did not overclock the memory but did perform some quick tests. Aida 64 showed a solid 42609 Copy, 46720 Write and 42670 Read, which was a little slower than the 3200mhz Cas 16 Corsair LPX that I already have in my Ryzen build. Super Pi came up at around 424 seconds for the 3000LPX instead of 423 seconds for the faster 3200 LPX! More of a rounding error than performance difference. I recorded no difference in Firestrike with both sets of memory scoring around 17900 points with my 1600X and Vega 64. Corsair memory is excellent and the limited lifetime warranty is the icing on the cake. I have not yet had any Corsair memory fail me and I have been buying their memory for over 10 years now. I like this memory and have no issues recommending it, it works well in Intel and AMD builds with XMP enabled. Please remember to update to latest bios for Ryzen compatibility.

Pros: Beautiful LEDs and performance is superbNo issues regarding how it runs and being detected by the ICUE softwareChanging the LED settings on the ICUE software was a breeze and I loved how I can change each of the LEDs indivdually, I have them in a nice pastel gradient which looks beautiful in my case. They aren't harsh tones and so fade nicely between the colours, e.g. I have one LED set to a peach colour and immediately afterwards a sky blue colour and it doesn't look bad.Cons: Price point. It seems pretty expensive but that's Corsair for you. I wish there were more offers on it. Also I didn't think it made much sense having such a small price gap between the DDR 3000 and 3200. That might just be me though.
