I was looking for a second stick of 16gb DDR5 laptop memory for my 2023 Asus G14 GA402XV gaming laptop due to high memory usage. This G14 came configured with 16gb of memory soldered on the motherboard with one open DDR5 memory slot. Although it functioned fine running at 80% memory usage with the stock 16gb for day-to-day MS Office suite and MS Edge web browsing, I wanted to upgrade to 32gb for gaming purposes. After reading an excellent GA402XV Best Buy review by “WyldeBlue” who tried different DDR5 vendors, he stated only the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 worked in this laptop. Purchased a stick from BB and did not have any issues with installing in the open slot. And that resolved my high memory usage by approximately 50% (now running around 40% memory usage with ... I was hoping to use these sticks of ram as Corsair has a good warranty for ram replacement but these ram sticks do not work on a Dell G16 7320 Laptop. It would not post at all. I put the original ram sticks back that came with the Laptop from Dell and posted perfectly.I went with Cruical ram sticks for the Dell G16 7320 as it worked on 1 laptop already.Do not get this for the Dell G16 7320 as it will not post after updating bios. I give it 2 stars for the brand.Note: If you do have a G16 or any laptop that does not have XMP do not get anything higher than 4800mhz which my G16 7320 doesn't have. Not worth getting a 5600mhz ram speed. Stick to 4800mhz as it is cheapest option.

I bought a 2022 Asus Zephyrus 16" laptop that came with 16GB RAM. I'm using the laptop to do some Premiere and After Effects projects, so I wanted more than the 16GB it came with. Many people who had purchased this laptop recommended this RAM. It's DDR5 and the 4800MHz is fast enough for what I'm doing. On the Zephyrus I bought it comes with 8GB soldered on the board and one slot for additional RAM. Since mine has 8GB on board, I could only expand to 40GB total. This 32GB stick works wonderfully. I also added a 2TB Samsung 980 Pro NVMe drive at the same time I upgraded the RAM. It's Corsair, so I wasn't worried about quality. I've been using Vengeance RAM in many builds for quite some time. Again, I wasn't disappointed. And the price for this RAM was extremely ... MoreI bought a 2022 Asus Zephyrus 16" laptop that came with 16GB RAM. This stick is perfect and works better than I thought it would.

No issues so far using it for 5 months. Installed in ASUS - ROG Zephyrus M16 16" 240Hz Gaming Laptop QHD - Intel 13th Gen Core i9 with 32GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090-2TB SSD.Laptop sometimes goes black screen where you have to restart. Occasional blue screen system errors. But am not sure if its due to me putting a 32gb next to a 16gb in dual mode or another issue. But this is not that big of a problem.
This RAM is probably good, but I had a problem using it in two new, but probably defective HP Envy 16 Intel Core i9 laptops. I returned both to Best Buy. They both failed after installing this RAM. (The RAM was verified and recommended by Best Buy Geek Sqaud.) I think the laptops were poorly built. The first could not be powered up even by Best Buy's Geek Squad after installing the RAM. I got the BSOD (blue screen of death) on the second laptop three times on startup after installing the RAM. It finally booted, but no thanks. I don't need a laptop with these kinds of problems. The laptops should not have had any problem with such simple and common upgrades.
The Corsair Vengeance 32GBB DDR5 memory is excellent. However, it was not the right memory and would not fit the mini pc.The issue is that I had no problem returning it through Best Buy. Best Buy has the most reasonable and easy return system. It a product isn't really for you, Best Buy has you covered. The technician in the Geek Squad noticed immediately and helped find the right part. Very grateful for the competence and service.
I bought two of these and installed them in my Acer Predator Helios 300 laptop. Hardest part was getting the bottom panel off. From there install was a breeze. Laptop recognized the RAM fine and usage seems fine as well, but my boothp time from pushing the start button has increased SIGNIFICANTLY. Once its running, it utlizes the the full 64 GBs when pushing the limit with video editing in Adobe Premiere Elements, but it is bothersome that it takes SO long to boot. It went from under a minute to several minutes. I assume its the RAM since i doubt its something else. If anyone else has experienced this issue and fixed it, let me know what you did to resolve the issue. But the specs on this RAM are identical to the specs on the stock RAM, so it has me stumped.
The CORSAIR DDR5 5600 VENGEANCE RAM is an absolute beast! Installation was a total breeze—just pop the sticks in, and you're good to go. No need to mess with the BIOS or any of that complicated stuff. With 64GB of RAM, you’ve got more memory than you’ll probably ever need. Whether you’re diving into the latest AAA games or running a ton of programs at once, this RAM handles everything like a champ. It’s basically future-proof, so you’re set for years to come.
I just upgraded my laptop with the CORSAIR VENGEANCE 16GB DDR5 4800MHz SODIMM, and it’s incredible. The speed boost is immediate and noticeable – everything runs so much faster, from booting up to running heavy applications. With 16GB of RAM, I can multitask without any lag, and gaming has become so much smoother. The build quality is solid, as you’d expect from CORSAIR, and it fits perfectly into the laptop without any hassle. Even if you’re not tech-savvy, the installation is straightforward.
The RAM was not compatible with a DELL XPS 15 9520. It is unclear if the incompatibility is due to Corsair or DELL not implementing a standard fully or some other factor that is not sufficiently documented. I ended up buying Crucial sticks (with identical specifications on paper) for 15% more and losing 10% of the returned price of the Corsair as the package was open. Several days after paying 15% more the price is now below that which I paid for the Corsair RAM. The whole exercise was an expensive waste of time. In the past I have bought Corsair RAM for a DELL XPS 15 9570 and it works brilliantly. For a laptop (where the manufacturer does not list RAM compatibility with other brands) I recommend only buying memory from a RAM manufacturer that guarantees ...
