Listen, we all know what it’s like to find that our little art monsters have left the lid off of the markers for the seventeen thousandth time, am I right?? Yes I am. I got really tired of throwing away dried up markers and stray lids that we’re just ending up in a land fill. No matter what super mom Pinterest inspired tape-lid contraption I made, my kids apparently have not developed the part of the brain where they learn how to replace caps on markers. So, I did a quick internet search for clickable markers…hoping my kids can atleast manage to click them back up, and stumbled upon these. I ordered both colors and can happily report that I haven’t met a dried up marker or orphaned marker cap since! In short, totally worth the few extra bucks, it will save you a ... MoreListen, we all know what it’s like to find that our little art monsters have left the lid off of the markers for the seventeen thousandth time, am I right?? The colors are also really beautiful and vibrant as well as the perfect marker thickness for coloring and drawing. I highly recommend!

I had to buy them through Walmart's app, not available in any of the Walmart stores within a 30 miles radius. 1, I love them because they are washable! I don't care if my kids are teens or not, accidents still happen and these wash out of clothes, off walls, hands, you name it, it comes off. 2, they're retractable, no more looking for lost caps, no fear of them drying out as a result. 3, I'm homeschooling this year, they're being used to write with by my son, I let him choose from pencils, pens, fatter Crayola markers, these are more comfortable for him. 4, My son has fine motor challenges, these are easier for him to write/ work with. I don't have fine motor issues, but, I like using these too, a thicker writng utensil is easier to use than a regular sized one. The only wacky thing is, I wish I could order an ink refill, my son loves using the blue marker and it looks like it's starting to run low on blue ink.

Worth every penny! These are great for introducing your kiddo to markers at a young age when their fine motor skills don't always work well enough to push the cap back on and keep it from drying out. Just one click to extend and one to retract makes life easier and your pockets happier. No more worries about faded marker ink and tears that their favorite color won't work. Always have a marker handy with Crayola Retractable Markers!
I loved these as soon as I saw them. Crayola is always my go too and my kiddos are always misplacing the caps so I’m constantly having to buy new ones. So these just made sense and I had to buy them. Never thought I’d have to double check markers. So disappointing. I’m on vacation on the countryside of Texas and the drive is too much of a hassle right now to return/exchange.
My daughter absolutely loves these markers. I bought the bright and bold pack and the original pack. I enjoyed how on the back of the marker box it states what colors come with each pack and she just had to have both. I was only going to buy one pack but ended up getting both of them, I specifically bought the original for her to have black and brown. With that being said for some reason the color in the original pack is not brown. There are 20 markers in the pack and all of them are accounted for except the brown. It’s a dark plum purple color (on the outside of the marker and inside ink color) that I thought was a mistake so I took them back to the store and bought a new pack and I have the same issue. The brown is still missing and in its place is a plum purple ... MoreMy daughter absolutely loves these markers. I bought the bright and bold pack and the original pack. These markers are great that there are no caps to lose. However, the set I purchased is missing a true red. Instead, our set has a dark magenta color. My 4-year old kindergartener instantly pointed this out when I presented the markers for a lesson learning about the color red (he didn’t know the color as a dark magenta only that it wasn’t RED.)Also, my son would have preferred having a set with a sky blue marker instead of a light turquoise color.Bottom line, this is a great set if you don’t have to have primary colors or even all the secondary ones (as it is also missing a true purple.) I suppose this would also make a great princess/unicorn coloring set.
I waited a year to write a review. No promotion was given unlike many of the others listed here. I homeschool my 4 kids and got tired of replacing markers due to lost caps. These were great at first (except for the red and green- they’re not represented correctly. Red is actually dark pink and green is pretty dark). It was inevitable that the toddler would forget to click the marker back into its chamber. But that only happened a few times and I threw out those markers once they dried. Eventually she got the hang of it. I’m about to make my second purchase one year later because I have a baby and don’t want loose caps lying on the floor (choking hazard), however, having had them for a year, I can say they do dry out even when used properly. I’m about to make my second purchase one year later because I have a baby and don’t want loose caps lying on the floor (choking hazard), however, having had them for a year, I can say they do dry out even when used properly. Toddler figured it out and going forward began clicking them but they still dried regardless. However, being used by 3 kids nearly every day for a year’s time, I’d say these were pretty decent. I just hate that they’re over $1 per marker. It’s probably cheaper to just replace the regular ones with caps when they dry out. I considered just stocking up on a ton of the regular markers for the year, however the choking hazard thing for the baby is what’s prompting me to repurchase these. I also wish Target carried the 20 count version all year around. Not just during the back to school period. There’s a greater variety of colors in that pack. My older kids are complaining that they’re green and red are dry and they want replacements now but I have to wait for back to school season for the 20 pack. First world problems.
I’ve been eyeing Crayola Clicks for about half a year now; I didn’t want to spend the money. But my little artists don’t put the caps back on their regular markers. I’m so tired of trying to keep up with that, so I finally bought a pack of Clicks markers today. The black and brown markers have been replaced with another shade of green and another shade of pink! The box doesn’t appear to have been tampered with; I always check for that. I am so disappointed in that aspect. However, I absolutely love the ability to click the markers open and closed. Some of them were a tad stiff, but they all clicked opened and closed. They are long barrels and I have to slide my hand up to click it and back down to use it, that aspect is not very child friendly but, overall, I think ... MoreI’ve been eyeing Crayola Clicks for about half a year now; I didn’t want to spend the money. And, bonus, if they are left open, I don’t have to hunt down a cap!
LOVE that I don't have dried out markers with missing caps and my toddler can click them on their own, BUT the box, description, and online pictures advertise very clearly show a red marker and the dark pink included is very much not the same as red. In a 10 pack of colors with pink and teal I would expect a red marker, especially since it is advertised as so. I wanted to send these to school with my kids so they wouldn't be losing caps, but they can't use a $12 pack of markers with no red.
