If any 3d printer you buy. Please spend the $ for the ender 5 you'll save $ and pain trust me. Setup was easier then the ender 3. Had it printing in 10 minutes. An unlike my ender 3 the first print was perfect. But the ender 5 isn't perfect but you want the ender 5.

Excellent quality construction. Simple assembly (as long as you have some technical experience and direction reading capability). The User Interface is thorough and easy to use. The print quality has been impressive as well. Overall, great value!

I have had my Creality Ender 5 Plus for a little over 2 weeks now. I can say with absolute certainty that, even as an Engineer by degrees, I got myself in over my head. The manuals leave much to be desired other than very basic assembly instructions, even omitting certain connectors. I had to research hours on forums to figure out that I had to make careful adjustments on each of the carriages to fix major skew issues on two axes. I originally wanted the E5Plus for its build size, but actually, many of the files I have tried to print have worked better in pieces, so I could have bought a less cumbersome printer and been fine. That all said, I do believe my prints to be good quality now that I have resolved hopefully most of the aforementioned issues. I am also ... I think troubleshooting will only get easier as the printer ages and more people discuss their peculiar issues out in the open.

Up and running in under 30 minutes. Packed beautifully. Little assembly required but not much. Only downside is the bed dips slightly in the middle but easily remedied with a post it note under the magnetic sticker.
No surprises. This printer was packed extremely well, All the tools I needed to assemble it were included, and the instruction booklet was very good. Once I assembled it, and leveled the bed, it printed great. I'm very happy.
Really well package in form fitting foam and a strong box, good quality, easy assembly (Ender-5) Generous sample spool of filament, all the tools needed to build and maintain it are supplied. A little more help on setup would be good but since I have a CNC machine I knew about adjusting the bed clearance a little bit in advance, but plenty of on line videos about Ender machines to help.
It arrived on time and the packaging was excellent for protecting the parts during transport. Assembly went quickly and the instructions were adequate. I have been using it for the past several days and the printer does quite well. The only drawback to it is that there is a learning curve and your initial projects will come out poorly or not well while you learn how to set up the print.
It prints great...when it prints! Have tried to contact Creality numerous times with no response! everything works until the printer tries to preheat the bed, then the system resets it's self. After several tries it will finally print.
So far, this looks like an excellent printer for a starter person. It took almost 1 hour to assemble and I was printing right after that. Nice quality printing. Needs a little learning online to advance in its use.
This printer is great start. Out the gate it produces great small prints with an imported CHEP profile but you will want to add some bed stiffeners ASAP! as any prints taking up the entire bed will create a rippled effect the further away you get from the bed rails. The best upgrade for this is dual z and a bltouch. Creality has firmware right on their website Don't forget to switch the psu to 110v in the states! It's just a switch on the back of the box. You'll have all kinds of issues, if it even works at all, if you don't change this. Luckily for us if we get the switch wrong it doesn't go POP! like it does in the rest of the world if they left it switched 110. After some tweaks and upgrades this is by far the best printer I own now.
