100% sure its not a placebo. Taking a scoop of this before working out boosts my energy level and capability of lifting heavier. It’s also improves the pumps. The only bit I recommend you all is to take huge amount of water when you are on creatine to avoid kidney problems. However, if you take it slowly (1 scoop a day before workout if you are cutting or 1 scoop after for bulking) and stay with 1 scoop only, it wont affect your kidneys in bad ways. Will defo buy again and been using this for 3 years now. Goes Well With: Water or juice. mix it up well and consume within few seconds as it will settle down the glass (being heavier than water).

I would like to start off by thanking MyProtein for the speedy delivery of my Creatine. I have done a lot of research, so I understood that it may not react well to my body, I started off with loading phase taking two scoops twice a day for a week. Before I started taking creatine I did a PT taster session at the gym and I was aching A LOT! Just to let people know I have RA (Rheumatoid) and this product helped me recover better and hit the reps I was set. I am now able to do double my start weights before I started creatine. This product has made the gym a more enjoyable and beneficial experience, being able to lift more and more is a huge bonus for me. Again, thank you for the great support. Goes Well With: I don’t mix, I just tip the scoop in my mouth and drink water.

Firstly, bag size is nice and compact. A lot of products come in massive bags full of air and you've got to have a cupboard under the stairs to store it, but this is nice and compact which I appreciate. Product is as good as any really. If you haven't taken it before, please take it just before your workout. I always fill a 2L bottle of water, a flavour concentrate/squash/juice, and a scoop of creatine. Shake it up, that's your preworkout. Start drinking out of it 30 mins before your workout and continue to do so as you're going. This is for muscular exercises. If you're doing cardio then obviously don't drink that much fluid that soon before. Same thing but maybe in a 500ml glass or something.

It's amazing stuff. I've been using it consistently with my protein shake (and sometimes in my porridge) for 6 months now and I've noticed a serious difference in my physique and recovery time. Creatine has given me better muscle definition, I'm more focused and can push to extreme failure more in the gym. I will say the taste is not great, even the unflavoured one, and it can be a bit bit gritty in shakes/smoothies. As long as you flavour it well with good accompaniments, it's worth every penny. Goes Well With: Protein shakes- I like vanilla whey protein Protein smoothies- a personal favourite is protein powder, creatine, frozen fruit, linseed mix, protein yoghurt, dark chocolate, maple syrup, soy milk.
I've been taking creatine monohydrate for several months now as an extra sup along with my whey protein (post workout), i try to take it around 20 minutes before a workout however taking it any time during the day works just fine. I take approx 7g a day and i get a noticable buzz from it, also i feel it gives a better pump after a session and therefore enhancing muscle growth in the long run. As far as flavours go, its always got that bitter sweet taste no matter which ones you try i find! but its only 150-250ml so just see it off! great value for money as well, the 1kg you can get 200 servings out of! Having only used two brands, 'MyProtein' and 'USN Core Micronised Creatine', the USN Micronised Creatine does dilute slightly quicker in water but that is the only difference I noticed. I regularly choose MyProtein as it is available in 1 kg packs which I can then portion into smaller 200g tub for daily convenience, taking up less room in the kitchen and the remainder of the bag can be stored out of the way until I need to refill the pot. At the time of writing this review 1 Kg costs around 35 and will make 200 servings, making it an incredible value performance and endurance booster for those who have a physically demanding job or workout routine.
It's Creatine, good value, I'm happy. Probably the cheapest creatine you can get that is actually 100% Creatine. DAILY DOSAGE: Athlete Level training: 0.3g per kg of bodyweight (divided into 3 doses spread throughout the day) Casual training and to hold muscle mass: 0.03g per kg of bodyweight If you're taking this stuff for the first time, then you pretty much wanna double or even triple your dose for the first week, then you can start taking whatever you dose is. 0.03g per kg is enough to hold muscle and enhance your performance at the gym, if you're training at a higher level for prolonged periods of time, then you'll need 0.3g per kg to help speed up recovery and enhance your performance.

Creatine really helped me feel more confident and enhance my performance on the pitch and in the gym. I recommend taking a loading phase of 2 scoops (6 grams) for the first 7 days and then reducing it to 1 or 1 and 1/2 scoops (3-5 grams) for the long term. I bought the unflavoured version and have been trying it with mainly orange juice and sometimes water. With water it just feels like normal water with a dissolved tablet but with orange juice, which is my favourite way of taking creatine, you don’t even taste it. Now is this a placebo thing that I'm going through? I don't know. But regardless, dropping a scoop or two into some OJ half an hour before training, I definitely feel more up for some lifting. Bear in mind I wake at 4. 30 to get in the gym for shortly after 5. But is it the creatine working some magic, or am I fooling myself? Add to this the 6 or so pounds I've put on over this period and I feel like it must be the creatine! I don't feel that my diet has changed dramatically, if at all.
