Creed Original Vetiver 100ml

To me this is actually a surprisingly unique vetiver-centered fragrance. There are so many vetiver fragrances out there, but this one uses different notes than the typical ones. There's a nice smoky accord to it (subtle and not overpowering) with the zing from the ginger, and it's still fresh and not overly dirty/earthy like some vetiver fragrances are. It almost has a barbershop vibe, but a bit more unique.

I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I stumbled on to this classy fragrance in 2010. I have since then had a bottle in possession, at all times. It's again, a citrus and vetiver masterpiece that has been exceptionally blended. It makes my happy heart, happier. It's like aroma therapy for me. I found my skin chemistry is more tuned to the pure parfum version. There are many who will vouch for the EDT version, too, but then to each his own. The performance and sillage are excellent. It's an olfactory delight! As for me, it will never cease to be out of fashion. It's a work of art and hands down, one of my favorites. It has gotten me a fair share of compliments over the years. Hamdan and Friday Charm are doing a great service by arranging these awesome/authentic fragrances at fair prices for us.

But really I wanted to come here and give thanks and my 5 stars to Beauty Affairs! In this current climate (covid) it’s been tough.... I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! To me those are two of the most important things! I can’t go out I don’t have time to do anything... I appreciate anyone who can get me my stuff quick and who actually get back to you! This one never gets old. Don’t feel alarmed guys. It’s a very easy wearing vetiver. It’s fresh. Sometimes I feel like it’s a bit minty. I love wearing this on hot summer days. So crowd pleasing and soapy clean.

Good morning everyone! Today I’ll compare two beautiful fragrances which will be in my rotation this spring and summer, Original Vetiver by Creed and Mugler Cologne by Thierry Mugler. [unpaid post-bottles purchased] Original Vetiver by Creed is a unisex Woody Spicy fragrance launched in 2004. Mugler Cologne by Thierry Mugler is a unisex Citrus Aromatic fragrance launched in 2001. Many people compare MC to OV but imo this is a really superficial and unfounded comparison. Original Vetiver is deep, a bit mossy and the vetiver is very proeminent upon first spray. OV smells natural, is extremely clean and green, opens with a blast to the face of freshly-squeezed bergamot and raw ginger root, kept company by hints of mandarin oranges ‘at the back of the room.’ After 15min. or so, a very unique blend of sandalwood, musk and ambergris notes kicks in and the scent evolves into something which smells and stays very fresh, green and invigorating throughout the whole fragrance lifespan. To me, smells like fresh cut grass early summer morning with dew. IMO it is not the most spectacular spring/summer cologne, but definitely a beauty and one of my favourites. OV is a great fragrance with great longevity, easily breaking the 8 hour mark. Mugler Cologne on the other side is mostly about neroli! It's a linear fragrance where at the top note I get a bitter sweet citrus and I can smell some soft, clean neroli flowers. MC is very fresh but not sour, soapy musk and a hint of grass. Once the time passes, it becomes more and more soapy, a light green colored soap which smells so clean and refreshing without any sharpness or anything overpowering. At this stage I get the connection and see that the fragrance was inspired by a soap brought from Morocco which Thierry Mugler liked very much and his concept behind this cologne was to make a perfume which not feels like a perfume. Longevity is quite impressive, it's a cologne, so maybe your expectation are low, but it lasts about 5-6 hours on me. Which one do you prefer?

Gorgeous heady scent

I have been trying to get this size of bottle (100ml) for the last year, however with lockdown and supplies coming from the Far East (seemingly) it's been impossible. But FINALLY JL came up trumps. It's a wonderful scent of fresh grass, with a long lasting oily-lemony fragrance. Love it.

I'd had my eye on this fragrance for a while, and during the Black Friday offers JL Cardiff had I just knew I had to purchase it! This is definitely a late spring-summer fragrance as it's a green fragrance with citrus opening notes, and sandalwood and vetiver base notes! It's a more moderate level fragrance so if you're looking for something that won't overpower you but at the same time that you can smell throughout the date then this is the one for you! Even though it's a summer fragrance you can definitely wear it throughout the year, and because it's a more moderate level fragrance you can even mix it with other Creeds you may have to create a unique smell and then create a summer unique to YOU!! One of the best Creeds and best vetiver fragrances

𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐕𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑 from the house of Creed @creedfragrances which was launched in 2004. ___ 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐕𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑 smells pretty different, fresher and more modern in comparison to my other classic vetiver dominant fragrances as Creed infused vetiver leaves rather than the roots of the plant which is the traditional way of extracting the vetiver scent. ___ The top notes consist of ginger, mandarin and bergamot. Heart notes incorporate vetiver from Haiti, Mysore sandalwood and Florentine Iris. The base notes include musk and ambergris.
