The lime and coconut last for almost the entire fragrance, but are accompanied by a fresh ginger, ylang-ylang, and some florals a few minutes in. My favorite part of the fragrance settles in around 20 minutes in when the musk and rum start to come into play. Although there is rum, this fragrance never comes off heavy or boozy, which I think is very appropriate for this particular blend. There is also a bit of sugar cane to add sweetness. As you can see with the blue cap, I happen to own a very rare vintage bottle of this. This is a masterpiece summer fragrance. As the title suggests, it is a very realistic coconut, whereas the citrus and ginger help bring it some freshness and zing. The lime, sugary notes and rum give it a very sweet/sugar cane mojito type of smell. Put that with the fresh coconut mentions before and you can already see how this is a masterpiece for hot summer heat, tropical travel and beachsides. The heat really does bring out the best of this and I find it changes quite a bit during the day in these conditions. I do wish the fragrance was longer lasting though. Don't be afraid to be generous with the trigger, as this is a very friendly fragrance that is not likely to offend anyone.

This is a fragrance for all times. It has such a clean scent, especially after it wears off a little. Creed Virginis Island Water is a classic and classy fragrance. It has lasted because it never is intrusive, just a fragrance which you you like when you catch a whiff of it. It is easy on the senses. It cares enough not tover-power, just to draw the guy in. Men seem to really be appreciative of it and like it on their women. this bottle is worth every penny I paid for it and can enjoy it. I wear this fragrance daily because my husband loves it and because I feel good when I wear it. Two spritzes last all day, but I'm not a walking cloud of scent.

In his signature and arguably his most iconic role, he absolutely knocks it out of the park here in what is easily his best performance in his career as an actor! He honestly deserved that Oscar he was nominated for! There is one scene where Rocky is confronted with horrible news and the subtlety of his emotions is unlike anything we’ve seen from Stallone before…

It lasted throughout most of the day, becoming more intimate and closer to the skin, but I could still smell the essence of the coconut and rum. It is a nice fragrance, something I would consider if I lived in the tropics, had a boat in the tropics, or something to that effect. Whilst you can find a fragrance thats popular, sophisticated, and high performance, its a lot harder to find one that you thoroughly enjoy from start to finish because it brings back some special memories that only you would know (and maybe those whom you shared those memories with). So for me its a very nostalgic and sentimental scent. There are other limey and coconut like fragrance in the market, but none I’ve found is more to my liking than VIW.Conclusion~ VIW is a tropical fragrance that has really nice lime and coconut notes. Obviously perfect for summertime. Scent doesn’t seem sweet nor musky, so it works as a unisex fragrance. I can see this works for young and middle aged groups, both new and experienced to fragrances. Longevity and projection isn’t great compared to others like Aventus or Green Irish Tweed, but if you love it like I do, go for it. Just be mindful of the price.
