The MXT 4.0 is a charger suitable for smaller 24V batteries. The MXT 4.0 is ideal for maintenance charging of larger vehicle fleets with 24V on-board electrics, as well as for backup systems, snow groomers, wheelchairs, etc. The MXT 4.0 is equipped with all the features and functions that can solve a variety of battery problems. It offers a number of functions, such as a battery diagnosis, which indicates whether the battery can absorb and retain charge, a special reconditioning function that restores deeply discharged batteries with acid stratification, a unique maintenance charging function, a mode for optimised charging on cold winter days and the ability to charge demanding AGM batteries (i.e. Optima). The MXT 4.0 is a fully automatic 8-step charger with a charging current of 4A for 24V batteries from 8 - 100Ah and for maintenance charging of up to 250Ah. The charger has protection class IP 65 (protected against dust and splash water) and is compatible with vehicle electronic systems. It is spark-protected, protected against reverse polarity and short circuit.
