Had been looking to replace an old pastry blender of this type. Was the only store that I could find one after several searches.
It does what it’s supposed to - just don’t use butter straight from the fridge. Oh, and buy from a genuine Aussie retailer!
Have not yet tried it but as my hands are now quite arthritic I think this product will be useful for making pastry.
Great tool to have in the heat of Broome. Cuts handling time to a minimum.
Love using this pastry cutter. Saves lots of time and energy and is now a joy to make pastry.
Pros: It seems to be getting difficult to find a decent pastry blender these days! This was inexpensive & works very well. It even has a 'thumb rest' thingie for easier use & more power when blending.Cons: Nope. It's a nice little gadget that does it's job. :)
So much easier for my freind who has arthritis in her hands.
I have been looking for one of these for years. Have been stuck using two knives (no, not literally, they were just butter knives). Makes me almost want to bake heaps more pastry items (but not really as I dislike cooking - but do like eating). Thanks.
