Everyone raves about certain other brand names and tears down lower priced sets of stainless steel like this one, but my wife and I have had a wonderful time with this 11 piece set! Cooks well, cleans easily, and looks reall great! The handles are solid but not too heavy- great combo all around. An important note- make sure to follow their care instructions! I left one drying on the stove while lighting something else, and the short extra gas burn off did cause some discoloration. Not super noticeable and probably would clean off if we set our minds to it, but easy to avoid if you follow their rules.

Absolutely LOVE this set! We were always nonstick pan users but our son pointed out little teflon pieces in his eggs and that grossed me out. He had this set and recommended it to us so we got it. The most amazing thing is that these have been easier to clean than the nonstick! The tip from Cuisinart… after you’ve finished cooking, put water and dish soap into the warm pan and let it cool. When you’re ready to wash the pan, that stuff can be washed off with a paper towel! And I’m talking about heavy duty kind of mess! I will never buy nonstick again.My advice…. read the pamphlet that comes with the pans. Tons of information.

I got rid of my non-stick cookware that had stuff flaking off in favor of this stainless steel cookware. I don't regret it! This cookware heats SO quickly and cooks evenly. However, in spite of pre-warming over medium heat as advised, eggs stick to the pan every. single. time I cook them (which is daily). Oil, butter, it doesn't matter what I use. The cookware is also difficult to return to spotlessly clean, again, even after trying all the ideas I read online. Such a great set of cookware, but difficult to clean.

This is a nice set, but it does not work on an induction stove. It will emit a very high pitched squeal on induction. It is worst with the bigger pots. It quickly gave me a headache. I had a service tech come out to make sure there wasn't an issue with the stove and he said it was the pans. I have since got a different brand of pots and pans and they do not make the loud noise. Also, I am currently trying to return these and the third party seller is making me pay return shipping and said "An appropriate refund will be processed as soon as your return is received and inspected in our warehouse." so it sounds like they won't give me a refund despite offering a video of the behavior.
I bought this set because I’m sick of buying non stick pots and pans. The non stick stuff gets scratched and then We’re eating god knows what toxic material and on top of that they loose their non stickedness!Well I love this stainless steel set! Using them is easy and clean up is no big deal! I read the recommended advice on the paperwork to cook a little lower in heat. I’ve sautéd vegetables, I’ve made spaghetti sauce, I’ve made soups and stews. And I’ve made scrambled eggs, no problem! Just soak a little afterward and use your non scratch scrubber sponge. I highly recommend this set.
After about 3 weeks of use I am starting to see what I would describe as tiny black pitting in one of the pots after 2 uses. First I thought it something on surface but apon closer inspection I realized it was actually pitting of the metal. So far it’s just on the one small pot. I am going to wait a few more weeks to see if the other pots develope the same problem. Either way I’ll be talking to Cuisinart cookware about Warranting the affected items. If it wasn’t for the pitting problem i would have given 5 stars.Well after a few more uses the same pitting problem is occurring on some of the other pots. There are positive attributes, for example, the handles are heavy, the rims are nicely turned for easy pouring, the lids fit well and you get a good selection of different sizes.However, overall the pot and pan bodies are light weight. I wish I had invested in a heavier set. The biggest disappointment is that one of the sauce pans has pitting or has chipped during the first use! My husband boiled potatoes and mashed them with a metal masher. I didn’t think that would cause anything greater than scratching since you can use metal utensils and even a handheld mixer in the cookware. Great set of pans. So shiny. Great quality. Not cheap thin product. I am very happy with these. We went with stainless because our previous non stick pans instructions said not to cook on high. We were always careful to not use the high setting, but I was steaming some vegetables, and I couldn’t see that the water had boiled down and the pot burned. The coating completely melted off the metal. It really worried me to see this, so we decided to not use them anymore and bought the stainless. I use barkeepers to clean when things get stuck on the bottom and they look like new.
I love my new Cuisinart set! These were a Christmas present to myself and well worth it! They are a bit lighter weight than other high-quality pans I have used, but don't be dissuaded. The lightweight is a bonus as they heat up, retain, and distribute heat quite well and still are light on your hands/wrists. Also, with a bit of barkeeper's friend and/or boiling water I haven't found any mess that can't be easily cleaned up and the pans look brand new again. These are not non-stick pans -- so know what you're buying -- but for stainless steel pans that can go from stovetop to oven and make absolutely anything you can imagine, these are a dream! I use them every day.
