Cuisinart - Electric Knife Set with Cutting Board

This knife is much better than the other Cuisinart electric knives. It's more comfortable to hold and has a lot more power. The blades also don't fall out like the last one I had. Very happy I purchased this and HD had it at a great price. The only drawback to this is the stand. It looks like you'd be able to mount it to a wall to save drawer space, but you can't. The blades stay in but the handle does not lock in place, so you're forced to lay it down in a drawer. That's why I couldn't give it 5 stars.

Almost Perfect

Compared to other electric knives I've tried; this one is the best and deserves 5 stars but there are a few improvements I would make. I use this knife to routinely slice up large turkey breasts.Pros:* Great power.* The blades are perfectly flush together, as they should be.Opportunities to improve:* The grip circumference is really large. Perhaps this is necessary to accommodate the powerful motor and gearing, but it makes holding and using the knife harder on the hand and forearm. Maybe not an issue for people with large hands* I would prefer as offset blade option. Because the grip circumference is so large, maneuvering the knife down all the way through the meat and to the cutting board is awkward. Offset blades would make it much easier.

Cuisinart Electric Knife

We bought it just before Thanksgiving. Mixed reviews about carving a turkey. I suspect that judging the knife based on a first time out is not a fair review. There would be a learning curve when it comes to carving a turkey. I will say that, hands down, using the electric knife, was an upgrade over using a chef's knife.After Thanksgiving, my wife needed to make finger food sandwiches for a baby shower. The knife was great when she needed to cut bread loafs length wise and later to cut the sandwiches into finger food sandwiches.I almost feel guilty giving the rating as only a 4

GREAT KNIFE

This is a great knife. Powerful and heavy duty. This is actually my second Cuisinart electric knife that i purchased when the first one finally gave out. If I could have, I would have given a 4.5 star rating only because there’s a button on top that you have to push forward while you are squeezing the bottom lever when operating. If you let go it shuts off. I realize it’s a safety feature but it’s kind of difficult to hold both. Otherwise, great purchase.

THIS KNIFE…best tool ever!!

This electric knife is a AMAZING!!! If you need an electric knife, your search is over. Don’t spend another minute shopping for another one. This is it. Seriously.I love sour dough bread but I don’t love cutting it. Total beat down. I bought a different electric knife, which might have done ok with meat, I have no idea, but it was a dud for the bread. So then I turned to Williams and Sonoma and bought the knife they have…bam!! Cutting that bread was like cutting warm butter. I’m in love!😁

The best gift ever for a meat lover... 🥩

I got this as a Christmas present for my fiancé and he just loves it. He loves his meat. He used to use a cleaver for everything and now he can cut the meat evenly to any thickness or as thinly as one likes. The perfect gift was the smile on his face and hearing the excitement in his voice after his first time trying it out.

Too fat and hard to hold

Thought I was getting a good Cuisinart knife but in using it to carve a turkey and ham on Easter, after using it for a short time the body of the knife was like holding and oily fat baseball bat. It is too fat and not ergonomic at all. In addition, the spring loaded safety switch must be held on while cutting, again with oily hands from the meat it is difficult to hold safely. The wide blade is too wide to make fine cuts close to the bone. Overall Cuisinart failed with this knife and it is not good, especially if you have older average size hands with arthritis. I wrote to Cuisinart and we'll see what response I get. I will not use this knife again.

Very nice; a little hard for small hands to hold

Really love this knife; we have used it for getting meat off baked chicken, carving a turkey breast, and brisket. What a difference it makes in presentation and makes the job so much faster. The knife is a little large and I wish the safety mechanism was a little easier to engage, since it has to be re-engaged every time a pause is taken in cutting.

Wonderful Purchase

We had originally purchased another brand electric knife and we very happy with it. We decided to get a different one and chose a Cuisinart. The first time we used it was to carve our Thanksgiving Turkey. From the first cut I knew we made a good choice. It was fast and easy to carve the turkey. The blades were sharp and came apart for easy cleaning. I liked the fact that it came with a fork and a holder to put the knife and blades away when we were done. I would recommend this knife to anyone looking for and electric knife.

Works great!

Just what I was looking for! Since my hands are smaller I had a hard time finding an electric knife that I could hold and control comfortably . This Cuisinart proved to be the winner for me. I like the double thicker blade it slices meat perfectly! Cutting board is kind of on the smaller side but who doesn't already have other cutting boards?? Also comes with a carving fork and is reasonably priced. I am very satisfied with this purchase!
