Cuisinart Ice Cream/Yoghurt Maker 2L - Stainless Steel

I bought this for my daughter, who has had a great deal of fun making all sorts of ice creams, with fresh fruit, also fruit flavoured sorbets. She is thrilled with it and says that it's the best. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this machine.

Bought this for my husband for his birthday in September 2016. We've used it many times since and love trying new recipes. The recipes that come with the machine are great. Very easy to use the machine and clean up is simple. I was concerned regarding the comments about the noise level, but it's really not a problem. We live in a small apartment with an open plan kitchen and living room and it doesn't affect us to have it churning for the half hour and we've never had complaints from neighbours.

Excellent Ice Cream Machine - Highly Recommend

Great ice cream maker! Yes, it can be a little noisy, but it only needs to run for around 20 minutes to do its job, and the results of homemade ice cream are well worth putting up with a bit of noise. It would be nice if it were the refrigerated version because you can only make one batch of ice cream per day, but as it is designed for low batch home use it's perfect for me.

Great little machine.

I love this machine. I’ve been looking for sugar free ice cream to hit the supermarket shelves for years. The range is very limited and it’s twice the price of regular ice cream. I got one of these about a month ago and haven’t stopped using it. We make about 2-3 lots per week and have guilt free ice cream every night after our evening meal. It’s the easiest thing to use. I don’t even cook but I won’t let my wife near this thing. The ice cream tastes as good as anything you can buy in the shops.

I've only had this machine a short while and only managed one batch, but wow, it worked really well. The instruction booklet says the frozen bowl will quickly thaw, but I didn't have any problems, even in this very hot summer. In fact by the time I got to scraping out the bowl, the icecream next to the sides was quite hard.The unit is fairly noisy, but I just put it in another room. I set a timer in the kitchen, so I wouldn't forget - the unit has no timer or auto stop. Next time I will have the serving bowls and container for the remainder also chilled, to stop melting before it gets to the table. Presumably smaller batches would work well (after doing the maths on the amounts of ingredients), but I suspect it would churn quicker - just have to watch it. This machine is fantastic Could!! Could it get any easier!! Just leave the heavy duty bowl in freezer til ur ready to churn and return it after cleaning. No creamy mouth or icy icecream, and you really can't go past the delectable good old fashioned vanilla.. mmm

Ten out of ten!

Mum loves her Cuisinart Ice cream maker and we've been getting yummy fresh made icecreams without the nasties. Its easy to use & cleanWe've probably put a few kgs on for it & may need to look at buying another Freezer & icecream tubs in the near future. I already knew it was a quality functional item because it was always sold out. Thank you Kitchen Warehouse for a great shopping experience it's my new Bunnings!

What a great investment this ice cream maker was. When your 20-25 minutes is up the ice cream is very much like soft serve, in the middle of the freezer bowl, and real ice cream near the sides and bottom of the bowl. The only fault with it is that it's noisy, real noisy. Louder than my teenage son! If it wasn't for the noise I would have given it five stars. Luckily I have a power point in my pantry and make the ice cream in there, which helps reduce the decibels. I guess you can't forget you left it on with it being so loud. The mixing arm is plastic and doesn't seem too sturdy but so far so good. I also bought a spare freezer bowl so I can make up to four batches in one day, so big is the demand for fresh ice cream in my small household. The recipe booklet is great to give you ideas of what you can do with this ice cream maker and I have modified a number of recipes in the few weeks that I've had it. A little tip I also picked up from the net is that guar gum (it's used in many commercial ice creams) will stop your ice cream from developing ice crystals, which is great if it doesn't all get eaten in the one sitting, and yes, I've tried it and it works... do your own research on it though. There are pros and cons as with anything. Oh, and the sorbet is to die for!
