Curel Itch Defense Calming Lotion For Dry, Itchy Skin

I’ve been using this for about 5 years now. This is the only moisturizer I use for my body and face. I know it’s meant for body only but it’s the only thing that works to moisturize my face and doesn’t break me out. I don’t know really if it helps with the itch (I have nummular dermatitis) but it definitely makes my dry skin feel hydrated. It also works better than many other high end brands of moisturizer such as Avène, Uriage, and other French pharmacy products. Also, it’s a fraction of the price of those. In addition, it’s unscented, which I appreciate.

I have really dry & tighy skin, but Curel Itch Defense Calming Moisturizer for dry itchy skin works so well, making my skin nice & smooth. Leaving my skin feel itch free & well Moisturized. I highly recommend this product for anyone with dry skin, it's even unscented. Thank you. :)

Excellent!

Curel is the best. I have very sensitive skin and this stops my itching and keeps my skin moisturized. The texture is very thick though. The bottle size is huge and last a long time. There is no scent to it. I use it when I get out of the shower.Improvement was noticeable. The package arrived on time and the product quality was optimum. I have benefited from this product and will buy it again.

Game changer for eczema!

I have that child with severe eczema. Well, not anymore. When I tell you that I tried everything, I really do mean everything! We tried numerous prescription oils, cremes, and ointments. We did wet wrap therapy, changed all of our products to free and clear and fragrance-free, eliminated foods, tested for allergies and sensitivities, etc. Then, I tried this lotion. It started working over night! Within two weeks, my daughter's eczema cleared up. When I ran out, I tried other lotions by Curel, but this one worked the best. I keep a bottle in the house for future flare ups.

After seeing a rash start at my ankles and make its way up my thighs, I decided to see a dermatologist. Surprisingly, the dermatologist told me that they sometimes can't identify what a rash is or how people get them. Although my rash did not itch, she recommended a lotion with ceramides like Curel Itch Defense Body Lotion. So now whenever I find a rash on this aging body and it itches I use Curel and it works. Sometimes after several uses of Curel the rash disappears immediately and sometimes the rash takes longer to die. However, the lotion stops any itching right away. Always have a bottle of this stuff at home.....especially during the winter months....when my skin is its dryest and the itching maddening.

Why was this $19? You were out at the store and it was $9.99. What a rip-off! It isn't even the bigger bottle. Works like the others, no better, no worse. I got ripped off big time! DON'T BUY THIS FROM DELIVERY, they really take advantage, like $10 more advantage for a smaller bottle. So disappointed and disgusted.

I started using this product because I am allergic to my cat. It took about a week or two to start working and altogether it took a few months for me to figure out what else I needed to do to get my allergy under control. I also give my cat special cat food, take an anti-histamine for myself and apply a dander removal product to my cat. Getting back to this product, I apply it once a day and rarely ever itch. When I do itch, I just change my clothes if I've been holding my cat and apply this lotion. Right away, I stop itching. This is a great product.

Winter survival gear!

This along with Aquaphor has helped keep my daughter's mild but chronic eczema under control and we tried EVERYTHING (Aveeno, Babyganics, Burt's Bees, Cetaphil, Mustela Stelatopia, Weleda Baby, CeraVe Baby, Manuka Honey, Vanicream...you name it). We also use the Curel Defense Itch Body Wash every evening as part of our baby's bath time routine. In the past we used only the lotion but it wasn't as effective until we recently started to apply a thin layer of Aquaphor on top to seal the moisture. The dry patches on her cheeks have finally gone away and now we focus on maintenance. Thank you Curel for bringing much relief and peace of mind to this first time mom!

Oh my gosh, so I started getting really itchy skin. My doctor prescribed me a steroid. I mean, I've tried other lotions and everything. And it's just been awful. But oh my gosh, when I came across this stuff. This is amazing! I didn't want to pay a button like Sarah V and all of them and they don't make an equate brand for the itch one so that doesn't help so I probably messed app and oh my gosh, my skin loves it! I feel it's relief from the inside of my skin out. It's completely calm. I've used it for the past 2 days I have not. I had one itch attack. I'm gonna start buying this from now on!!!
