Initially impressed on first usage. Charged to full in a morning of good sun. Last time it charged from solar. It would charge from mains.Returned to Anaconda. They will not refund until reviewd by Cygnett. Have to wait upto 1 month review option. Still not had a refund after 3 week. Not good enough service from a huge corporation

Good mid sized power bank I take camping with me, I get 2 full charges for my phone. Unfold the solar panels during the day and it works great in full sun. Power bank can be seperated from the solar charger and used by itself. Comes with USB cable to wall charge.

Look it’s ok. But I don’t think the solar works as well what it could. I left it in full sun for a couple of days and it barley made it past a 1/4 charge. So if you’re looking for something to take hiking so you can use solar to at least get enough to boost your electronics while out there, then maybe there are other options. It only gives an iPhone 11 maybe one and half charges as well and on full power won’t power it’s light for more than a 5 or so hours. So for hiking it’s probably not the best option, however if you get really stuck, after a long time in the sun, it may pull you out. Otherwise it’s just another power bank haha

A full day in the sun, re positioning every hour to ensure best sun/panel angle the best you'll get 10% charge on a Samsung A23.If you attempt to charge this product of a car 12v cig socket you must remove the cable when you turn the car off or all the stored power will be leaked back into the car and wasted.Have contacted Anaconda several times via email over weeks, they never reply but are happy to block negative reviews of their products they don't like.
I bought this power bank and took it on a six week hike. It never charged using its solar panels while it was attached to my pack. After I finished my hike I put it in direct sun too but it didn’t changes thing. Maybe mine was faulty or the solar panels are just too small and useless. The instructions say it needs 15 to 20 hours of solid sunlight to recharge. This might be possible when camping but not when hiking. I don’t recommend to rely on it while being outdoors or on a multi-day hike. The power bank itself weights 185g and the solar panels 125g. So 310g in total.
Great 8k powerbank. Works well, charges fast (when plugged in), delivers enough power to fast charge. HOWEVER! The solar panel is so bad its not funny. Took more than 3 days from sunrise till sunset in bright blue sky weather to charge up to the final stage ie 4 lights. I even aimed it at the sun throughout the day.
Great portable sola device with powerbank, lightweight and easy to operate. recharges quickly directly to a device or use the powerbank. Used to recharge my phone, watch and GoPro weeks on end. Highly recommend this device
Hi,I recently purchased the Cygnet chargeup power bank before a hiking trip to keep small items powered for a few days. The solar panels seemed to charge the powerbank itself but I could not recharge my phone or torch from the USB outputs and had no access to these items for most of the weekend. I am assuming the product us faulty. Very disappointed
Have had the solar trying to charge for 5days in full sun and high UV and it doesn’t even have 1 bar of charge. If you charge it via wall charger you can charge your iPhone 11 once and then the power bank is flat. You also have to keep pressing the on button for it to continue to charge your phone as it stops after about 10mins of charging.
Charges up my phone VERY quickly AND i get at least 3 full charges. 5 stars for the output power.BUT 3 days in full sun and the solar panels do almost nothing. left it in the sun on the kitchen window ledge for a week and maybe got 1 bar of charge. I bought this for a specific camping trip. having trialed it for a couple of weeks i will have to buy a second power bank. why have solar panels if they dont charge the unit? misleading and dissapointing.
