Great power bank , BUT don’t buy if you are hoping to use the solar panel as a way to charge. I had the bank in the full sun for 3 days straight and still couldn’t get the power bank to charge. Plug it into the power, no problem! My other solar power banks take a good full day to charge, but this one seems to not work well.

The solar may as well not be there. Direct sunlight for three days only got one battery bar, which only charged my phone to half way.After plugging it in to the wall until full charge, I only got two full phone charges out of it, not the advertised 5.I thought having it fully charged before putting it in the sun may have helped make the most of the solar function- it doesn’t.This does not do what it says on the box.

Brilliant product. It charges up all that I need it to. I am an avid camper and it's been invaluable. I can also run my little USB desk fan in the tent for at the least 3 hour's, without losing the full 4 battery life indicator lights. Great product. Thanks Leah

I do not recommend this product at all. I had it sitting in the sun for a week and it did not even increase in charge. Not worth it. I returned the product for as it wasnt charging and was informed it was the second one they had returned recently. It sounds like a great product and its unfortunate the main reason i bought it was to charge it using the solar panel and it does not wven do that
Last resort, the solar panel isn’t big enough to make enough energy and would’ve a last resort that would take a full week or too to charge most of the way. The light on the back is a very good light I would have kept for the 20000 battery and the light on the back but the size and widget was a bit excessive. I would recommend solar panels that put out more watts than 1.5 considering a wall charger would put out 12-15 watts and the power bank would take over 9 hours to charge the power bank from dead.
Bought this external charger for an outdoor adventure where I wouldn't have access to energy and thought this would help since it says is solar charger. However, I was disappointed.... the display shows as charging on the sun however when you insert the other devices to charge it doesn't not charge. I couldn't rely on this charger it didn't suited my expectations and requirements.... not worth it
Wanted something for our phone esp when we have power outages plus for day trips.Read reviews and decided on this one.Wow it really holds a good charge and the bonus emergency Solar option a bonus.Charged our phone in quick time - our battery on it's way out so it's also brought us some time.We ended up putting ours in a hard plastic empty wet wipe's container for protection.Good display of blue and green lights to alert where charge is at and they switch off automatically to save energy.Yep it's a winner so far, cheers Aconda for another great and affordable product and solution 😉
I bought this to keep my phone charged when out camping for a couple of weeks. The first several days it kept my phone nicely charged, but I was bitterly disappointed when I started relying on the Solar aspect. The Solar panel is 200mAh, while the battery is 20,000mAh, So that means you need 100 hours to fully charge the battery in perfect conditions. My home solar is optimal for about 5 hours a day, so 100 hours to recharge, divided by 5 hours per day... It will take 20 days to fully recharge this battery, nearly 3 weeks. But that's only in perfect conditions where you can keep it pointed directly at the sun during this time. This solar panel is nothing more than a gimmick. Save your money and just buy a regular battery bank.
I was excited to use these while camping. They hold a lot of charge when plugged, but I had them sitting in bright hot sun on a clear day all day.. all the next day.. nothing. The solar doesn’t work.I bought two and both the same. If you’re going for 2-3 days and don’t have ipads, ok - but otherwise give it a miss.
Great USB charger for mobile phone & rechargeable torch. It does charge on solar but a bit slow to get charge up if no alternative. Found it will also charge through a mobile phone 240V plug that uses the USB cable. Great 20000 capacity for the price - $59 - will recharge my phone about 3 times if powerbank fully charged. Great for off-grid camping or caravanning, sailing etc
