Dailies AquaComfort Plus 30 Pack Contact Lenses

These are not inexpensive, and you would think dailies are constructed to be hardy enough to at least last for a full day. I’ve purchased these a few times, and there always seems to be something a bit off. Currently, 90% of the contacts from the box for my left eye have ripped either before even getting them in my eye or randomly during the day. Some of them were almost impossible to get out of their individual wrapping. I’ve been using the right eye contacts in both eyes so I don’t run out or sometimes just give up and put on glasses. Frustrating at the money and time lost, and that its difficult to simply correct my vision.

Be careful with these. Some are defective

I had previously explained this but it seems bad reviews are deleted so please be aware. These contact lenses break in your eye. It could be that the quality of the contacts is very poor, or that some are defective. In my case, I was not able to use contact lenses for months because the right contact lense broke inside of my eye and trying to remove it scratched my eye (pics attached). I have been using contacts for 20 years, so the technique was not the problem. I left a comment here and got a $30 dollar credit but reading the reviews this is not the first time it happens and I cannot find my past review; all recent reviews are good. So please, be careful.

Beware - They rip in your eye!!

I don't usually write bad reviews but I wish I seen the other comments before getting these! They're so fragile, I'm having a lot of trouble with them ripping in my eye, and even pieces left in my eye leaving my eye irritated and trying to get them out!! They even ripped when just putting them in one day! They also seem to dry out very easily and fast becoming uncomfortable. I've never experienced something like this with contacts before! I had this brand before and don't recall having this trouble, not sure if something changed but it's been a horrible waste of money!

Beware! Contact ripped in half in my eye 3 times!

So I purchased these in December 2021.It's my first time using dailies and I thought these would be beneficial long-term for the health of my eyes. At first they were great, easy to use and dispose of. They were comfortable at first however when I went to put the contacts in my eye one morning, as I was driving to work.. All of a sudden I realised my eye was getting irritated to the point where my eye was stinging and watering.I was able to get to work safely with one eye closed and a colleague helped me flush out my eye with saline wash. We had to use q-tips to retrieve the contact that was now impossible to retrieve using only my fingers. I got home that night from work and something in me just told me to go inspect my eye, as worst case scenario I didn't want an eye infection because of a contact that had been long forgotten in my eye.After careful inspection and a lot of prodding and crying, I was able to find the missing piece lodged behind my eye-lid where I couldn't feel it at all. The reason I've decided to write this review was to just warn others, this may have caused an injury to my eye such as a scratched cornea and I wouldn't wish that on anyone else. Beware!

Beware! DO NOT BUY THESE!!

These contacts Rip in your eye! They are extremely thin, fragile,and rip in your eye. I have had to throw so many out. Beware! I had one rip in my eye could not get out went under my eyelid. My left eye got completely red, swollen, infected. My vision was blurry. I had to go to the eye doctor to get removed it was in pieces and she said it had scratched the cornea of my eye in two spots in the left corner of my left eye and she gave me a prescription for antibiotics and steroid for my eye. I had to take 2 days off work could not see properly out of my eye and became so infected and swollen and extremely painful and gave me a extreme migraine headache! Do not buy these !

Been having a terrible time with these contacts. They are so flimsy and most rip before I can even put them in my eyes. So many have been wasted because of this. When they don't rip they feel terrible in my eyes. Like they are going to pop out. Sometimes they start to hurt so I take them out and they are ripped or have a chip in them. I had one rip in my eye the second I put it in and it got stuck at the back of my eye. I didn't even rub my eye before this happened. Because it was ripped it was extremely painful and my eye swelled up and went super red. I couldn't get it out or even see it and had to go to the eye doctor to get it removed. Not using the rest of my pack because I'm terrified this will happen again. Waste of money :(

Really comfortable lenses

I was struggling to find a new lens when the one I had worn for years was discontinued and replaced with a product that didn't work for me. I have a pretty strong prescription (-9) so my options were somewhat limited. Many only gave me improved vision at a good distance, but made reading anything up close or seeing mid distance pretty awful - I was struggling with headaches as a result.These lenses have saved the day. They offer a really good range of vision improvement for me. Yes, my long distance vision could be a bit better, but it's a worthwhile tradeoff for me to not need cheaters to read something up close. And, they are comfortable all day - and I wear them about 15 hours most days.Ordering and delivery from Clearly was quick and easy to boot!

THESE HAVE RIPPED IN HALF WHILE WEARING MULTIPLE TIMES.Also many were ripped in the packaging. Had to throw them out. it is difficult to get them out of your eyes when they rip in them and it has been a recurring issue. extremely irritating and uncomfortable. they are the worst contacts I've ever used. I have made clearly aware of the issue and they kindly sent a new box thinking the first ones may have been defective, however, it kept happening anyways with the new ones. I've tried acuvue moist and biotrue dailies and didn't have this kind of issue; would never recommend these contacts to anyone!! I was extremely anxious whenever these ripped apart in my eyes and had to spend 15-30 mins trying to get them out, be careful if you get those.

The worst contacts that I have ever purchased

I'm not 100% sure if I received a defective batch or if they are all like this, but I have only used around half of one package and the contacts have torn inside of my eye on two different occasions. The first time, it split exactly in half around 5 minutes after I put them in. It wasn't too difficult to take out and I thought that I may have ripped it as I was putting it in. The second time; however, I was in the car and the contact just suddenly tore after having worn them for just 3 hours and I hadn't touched my eyes since I put the lenses in. It took around 20 minutes trying to take out the small piece out. I will absolutely never order these contacts ever again, and I strongly recommend that you don't either.
