Davines Solu Clarifying Solution Shampoo 250ml

I have been trying so many shampoos to make my hair stronger. I love this one. I use it twice a week and it lathers so well. My hair has never felt cleaner. This is one of my favorite shampoos.

SOLU is a great clarifying shampoo for dealing with product build up! I have very curly, color treated hair, so dryness is an issue, which means I would NOT use this regularly, but it’s a wonderful occasional treatment. High surfactant level means it’s gonna strip all of the product (and oil) out of your hair, but it leaves you with a squeaky clean base when you need it!

I recently had the chance to try out the Davines SOLU Shampoo as part of the curated haircare Birchbox selection for February 2022. I really do I had a larger bottle of it - it is fairly concentrated, so even with long, thicker hair, the 2 oz will cover a decent number of shampoos. It really does a lovely job in its role in my haircare as a much needed clarifying shampoo - not only to combat the effects of hard water on color treated hair, but also to remove any product buildup that inevitably happens between washes and styling. (The fragrance is also very pleasant!)

I got a sample of this and wasn't sure what to expect. First off, the smell is strong and sort of bitter maybe like hospital shampoo? I don't love it. That said, it doesn't really linger in your hair, which is good. This is a clarifying shampoo, which I don't use tons because I have long hair and it can dry it out. I did use this on a particularly oily day and my hair feels absolutely squeaky clean. I focused in mainly on my scalp and my hair is looking very bouncy. I will work this into my wash routine before a deep condition and I would repurchase.

This is an amazing clarifying shampoo. It’s emulsifies very well and leaves my hair and scalp feeling very clean afterwards. It prevented my hair from getting oily as fast. I bleach my hair and this shampoo was safe in preserving my color. It also had a very nice scent. I would highly recommend this.

Best cleansing shampoo on the market. love this, I have a sensitive scalp so it’s scary to use products that mostly aim to cleanse, but this davines product is subtle. Definitely not an everyday shampoo, just for those times you feel like you need a good cleanse after using a few styling products throughout the week. It’s rich in antioxidants and that’s a definite bonus. The formula is same as all davines essential ranges, it has a high percentage of biodegradable ingredients. The packaging is reusable.

Obsessed. I don't remember where I found this clarifying shampoo, but it's the only one I'll use now. There's really no scent, applies and rinses nicely, and my hair feels so much better afterwards. It's a bit pricey but I justify that buy using it infrequently. Definitely worth the try if you're looking for a great clarifying treatment.

I really loved this shampoo! I received it as a sample from a monthly subscription and at first I was disappointed that they would send me shampoo as one of my samples. However, when I tried it I just loved how soft and shiny it made my hair and it also had a pleasant smell. I even used a little on my 2 year old's hair and it made her hair super soft and really brought out her little curls. I am definitely going to purchase it in a full size.

This was the first Davines product I ever used and it was really great for my hair. I have quite a dry scalp and it really helped in terms of just clarifying my scalp. I personally hate that rubbery feeling after washing your hair - as though it’s been stripped - even though sometimes this is needed to get off all the buildup. This never did that which was really great and I never felt it buildup or cause irritation on my scalp which has been an issue in the past. Really love this one.

Great shampoo

Received a sample of this shampoo in my Birch Box and was so pleased how well this cleaned, I ordered the largest bottle available. My color treated hair feels very clean, but not at all dry. I am a product girl and use this shampoo every other day or so. I’d appreciate a recommendation on which conditioner to use in conjunction with Solu Clarifying shampoo - something that doesn’t weigh down my fine hair.
