Davines Volu Volume Enhancing Shampoo, 250 ml

Honestly I was really disspointed in this shampoo. To start off when I used it in the shower it made my hair extremely dry. Then once of out of the shower my hair was incredible tangled and difficult/ painful to brush. Overall the shampoo did not affect the volume of my hair and it ended up being oily later that same day and especially the next. This photo was taken a few hours after showering. Overall I would not recommend this shampoo.

If you prefer a really foamy shampoo, then VOLU is for you. Never have I experienced so many foamy bubbles in any shampoo I've ever used. However, in reading the label you'll find a lot of sulfates which are the chemicals responsible for producing all this luxurious foam. And believe it or not, sulfates can actually strip hair of its natural, protective oils. But it's next to impossible to find a sulfate-free shampoo that really does the job. VOLU is not over-poweringly perfumy but has a clean, fresh scent, so if some of the sulfates were removed (thus a little less foam) I'd definitely continue using it.

I deligently tried this shampoo. Davines says on the page for the product that it is for "Hair Type: Fine or Limp".Warning, that is not correct. That is the exact hair that I have. Tried and tried and tried to use this product.If you have Fine or Limp hair, do not buy this product. I contacted Davine's staff on the website, but they didnot have any input.

I also like the natural, not harsh ingredients that the company is using in the products. My hair is chemically treated and is rather thin and gets oily pretty fast. This shampoo has a very nice subtle smell and works really well. It adds the volume to your hair and yet makes the hair feel soft, healthy, and easy to manage and style. This is one of the best shampoos I’ve ever used—and I’ve spent a tiny fortune on my hair and quality hair products. I love this shampoo—and it’s from Italy. The scent is mild. I appreciate that there is no chemically-derived fragrance. The quest for volume can come with consequences in harsh ingredients that can even affect your health as with biotin. It's a needless risk when you have a pure and effective shampoo with minimal ingredients. There is so much thickness to my hair—and not just for one day. I’m looking forward to trying a Davines conditioner now during the dryness of indoor heat.

A refreshing change to my regular routine

Why did I wait so long? I have used their OI oil in 2014 which is quite incredible. I love that this is a natural product line. I knew with this first time shampoo experience it was going to be good. And it did not disappoint. While I did not experience more volume I did get very soft, fluffy clean hair. The smell is very unique too. A smell I cannot describe. Not bad, just different. I do alternate shampoo so I dont use this every time. I would recommend.

Best shampoo I have ever used

I want to tell all women with fine, straight hair about this shampoo. There is no shampoo that even comes close to this one. After trying many I concluded there was not a perfect shampoo for me. Now I stand corrected. I LOVE THIS SHAMPOO! It leaves my hair feeling clean, super soft, and bouncy. People think I have thick hair.

Disappointed - Little Volume but left Greasy

Really wanted to like this shampoo and was super excited based on the reviews. It was lighted scented (which I didn't mind), non-irritating for my scalp, and added some volume for the first day. However, hair quickly became greasy near the scalp and never felt truly clean. I have fine hair and am prone to grease, but not to that extent! Ended up going back to my previous shampoo and immediately saw improvements.

Fantastic shampoo

I received 2 samples of this with 2 orders I had made. I absolutely love this shampoo! It lathers really well, even though I have super thick hair. It smells REALLY good and it makes my hair feel amazing. My hair is also super shiny when I use it. I’m super bummed that it’s so expensive though, $30 is just too much to spend on a regular size bottle of shampoo. If it was $20 I might consider it because of the quality and how well it lathers, but I can’t justify $30.

I ordered some makeup and got a sample of this shampoo and conditioner. It sat in the closet for probably a year because I thought I was happy with what I was using. I came across it in my travel toiletries when I was packing for a trip, and thought, "oh, this will be convenient for traveling." I am SO happy I stumbled across that little sample again.I'm not sure which magical ingredient(s) my hair loves so much, but this shampoo and the matching conditioner are seriously the best. I am always skeptical after just one wash because for some reason my hair can really like something the first time and then hate it the next time. I was so thankful to find that my hair was and is just as happy after several uses.
