Pros: The out of box experience is not far from overwhelming. A very stylish coffee machine you can proudly display in your kitchen. It goes along with everything and I've already had compliments on how stylish it is. It's no larger than others bean to cup machines but better in all aspects. There are so many coffee options to choose from, whether is a hot beverage or a cold one and each is accompanied by it's jug of milk should you prefer a latte or cappuccino. It's not hard by any means and quite easy once you accept that you've just opened yourself to a whole range of coffee. It's like a personal barista at your fingertips. The customization for each profile is insane and we no longer dispense twice to fill a cup. As for the taste, until now I thought this is just a gimmick but for the first time I was able to feel the taste of fruitiness of coffee or the slight notes of chocolate or caramel that's advertised on the bag. This machine has everything and more that you would expect from a bean to cup. It also has an adjustable grinder if you prefer a fuller taste but I found the default number, 5 to work just fine. I found cleaning it is easy and I've done it only once since I got the machine and when it needs it, it also warns you to descale it which is in itself a very straightforward and easy process. Overall, I would and will recommend this machine to everyone that wants to enjoy a good cup of coffee.Cons: The whole app experience leaves me a bit frustrated. It sometimes looses connectivity and I have to start from the beginning after I've created my recipe. It doesn't happen often but when it does it's quite annoying. The jugs of milk could could be slightly easier to clean.

It has a range of options from simple espresso to latte macchiatos and everything in between. The quality of the drinks is something I'd expect in a good high street coffee shop. Each drink can be customised to a degree and you can save your settings to your own profile via the touch screen. You can have up to four profiles which is nice. You don't have to limit yourself to coffee either - the machine has a hot/cold milk function which I've found to be excellent for making hot chocolates and milkshakes with each having a gorgeous fluffy texture. With a little creative thinking and some extra ingredients you can produce some really wonderful beverages not specifically programmed into it. In my first week I made 137 drinks (it has a counter built in!) and had great fun experimenting with different ingredients and syrups.Whilst it may cost more than say a pod type machine the quality and versatility make it more than worth it. Not to mention the cost per drink is significantly less too. If you love coffee and want something that can deliver quality without fuss then this is the machine for you.Cons: I can't really find any real problems with the machine. It can be a bit loud when grinding I suppose so if you have a light sleeper in the house it might limit when you can use it maybe? I'm reaching here. It's a large unit and might not fit everyone's space?

It comes with a pristine take away metallic lidded cup if you are on the go. But for me what really sells this product beyond anything any Coffee shop can offer anywhere is the fact that you can decide what Coffee bean you wish to use. The machine comes with 2 frothing cups, one for hot drinks, the other for cold. We're vegan so use plant milks (mainly oat and soya) and the froth results have been brilliant for both the hot and cold drinks. You can even make hot chocolate by frothing the milk and adding your chocolate powder to it.Considering all that it does the machine itself is a good size and compact,. That said, it is one and a half times the size of our Nespresso lattisimo machine, in both height, width and depth, so that's worth bearing in mind if your space is limited.The quality of the coffee it makes has been consistent throughout, regardless of which drink we made and taste-wise it produces very good coffee.It has a very user friendly interface, and being able to easily customise each drink by size and strength is a real bonus ...especially as you can save the preferences for up to 4 people. There are also different grind options available so you can choose the best grind for whichever beans you use. So, while it may take a bit of time to find your perfect combination, but once you have, you're sorted! There is also an app that it links seamlessly to over WIFI so, as long as you don't turn the machine off at the mains and you've made sure there is a cup in situ, you can get the app to make your coffee! The advantage here is that you can place a cup to go (one comes with the machine) in situ the night before then get the app to make your coffee while you're finishing up getting ready for your day, and just grab it and go as you head out the door - it's marvellous!!Cons: The biggest downside for us is that, like many people, we frequently have decaffeinated coffee as well as caffeinated, and there is only 1 bean hopper. Trying to take the beans out when you want to use or try a different bean is incredibly hard as there is no way to just empty the hopper, instead you have to attempt to scoop the beans out, and I say attempt because the integrated bean grid makes scooping them out near impossible!You do have the option of using pre-ground coffee, but you can only use 1 scoop at a time (so no extra shot option) and this option comes with a huge drawback in that you can't make every type of drink with pre-ground coffee. If you select the wrong type of drink using pre-ground, the machine errors out and simply deposits the grinds internally within the machine and it's very difficult to try and clean up, we're also concerned it might end up damaging the machine if done too often. So you definitely need to read the manual BEFORE using the pre-ground to establish if it is possible to use it for the drink you're intending to make.The Drip tray is also a tad annoying to empty as it's so big and we have found the machine a bit demotivating to clean as it has a lot of removable parts making it a tedious task...though being able to reward yourself with a good coffee afterwards is obviously an incentive!All in all though, we have loved using the Eletta Explore Automatic coffee maker as it is really easy to use and makes consistently great coffee.

When trying to activate the account, the link keeps taking users to the main product selling page and not to a confirmation of the account activation. My location kept changing on my profile from the United Kingdom to United Arab Emirates and could not be edited on the profile. For people moving countries, this will be problematic. My wife wanted to also be connected to Eletta on her mobile. She was unable to create her own account that would connect to the machine via WiFi either automatically or manually, despite following the machine instructions. We tried to reset the WiFi connection via the machine then both lost connectivity. I had to reactivate my account to re-connect. It was a frustrating process. There does not seem to be an option to invite my wife as a second user on my profile, and she is still not able to connect through her own account. It needs be clear whether two users can log in to the machine, and if not, it would be helpful for instructions on how to add additional users to be clear the manual. The only way we have been able to get around this (after 2 hours of trial and error) is for my wife to use my log in details, and this may not be a suitable option for all households. The machine itself is wonderful and sorting these log in/connectivity issues would bring this to a 10/10 overall rating.

It has 4 individual profiles to store all the family’s favourites and specific settings so you can instantly recall and select your drinks the way you like them from the excellent colour touchscreen. It cleans the milk spout for you and anything else eg milk carafes can just go in the dishwasher if needed.Unused milk can just stay in the carafe, unplug and store in the fridge overnight, very simple.The machine does other fancy stuff if you want to dabble eg it is wifi enabled, and with the “Coffee Link” app it can utilise ‘Bean Adapt Technology’ to automatically adjust its grinders for different types of ... MorePros: One-touch perfect coffee every time. Every type of coffee available; hot, cold, flat, frothy, coldbrew, iced. Easily adjustable strength, size and froth. It has 4 individual profiles to store all the family’s favourites and specific settings so you can instantly recall and select your drinks the way you like them from the excellent colour touchscreen. It cleans the milk spout for you and anything else eg milk carafes can just go in the dishwasher if needed.Unused milk can just stay in the carafe, unplug and store in the fridge overnight, very simple.The machine does other fancy stuff if you want to dabble eg it is wifi enabled, and with the “Coffee Link” app it can utilise ‘Bean Adapt Technology’ to automatically adjust its grinders for different types of beans. I can’t comment on this function as my beans and grinder were perfect out of the box so I didn’t fiddle with them.This is the ultimate automated but understated, coffee barista, is has all the bells and whistles working in the background but none of the complications out front. Everything is done for you, perfectly (it is amazingly good at it) every time. Everyone who tried it said it was the best coffee they had tasted.It makes a nice cup of tea too.Cons: As a coffee novice I was unsure how the various coffee types available (there are 52!) related to the size of cup you need under the nozzles. The display shows pictures of all the different coffee in various cups/glasses (from tiny Espresso to tall travel mugs) but it would be useful to also have an indication of what volume of coffee/ milk is about to be delivered so you don’t get the “overflow anxiety” we had a couple of times. It was fun finding out though and you do get the hang of it pretty quick.
Pros: I genuinely love this machine - I'm a coffee fan and have about 7 or 8 different techniques in the house for making coffee, and this machine is allowing me to streamline: It does everything, both hot and cold.No real setup required, the machine is very easy to use - with a digital interface, you can choose a wide variety of coffees at the touch of a button: if it requires milk, you simply insert the lattecrema jug, place your cup, and both coffee and relevant style/volume of milk are dispensed accordingly. Compared to other bean to cup machines I've used in the past, this is very quiet - even the grinding isn't overbearing. The grinds are easily removed from the dump tray and this cleans easily due to the material. I have genuinely saved a fortune in buying takeaway coffees because of this machine - it is coffee-shop quality brews, and now rather than grabbing a coffee on the way home/to work each morning, I simply make a cup (or use the excellent takeaway cup included) and no longer need to stop. Finally, the machine really looks the part. It's slick in design, the graphic user interface is very easy to use (and gives you an indicative picture of each drink), and all of the individual elements that need to be accessible are very well laid out and easy to reach.Cons: Try as I might, I could not get the wireless functionality to connect to the app on my phone - even following the troubleshooting steps many times. There's no real command over the temperature that the coffee comes out at (apart from the selection between hot and cold drinks) - I like a hot coffee, but there was way to set the temperature of the hot drinks - it seems standardised. Don't get me wrong, it's still pleasantly warm, but I like my americano to be extra-hot and there was no option to modulate the temperature.A final observation would be that there's no real warning when the beans are running low, in the same way that the water or milk will give you warnings to fill up. How easy this is to implement into coffee machines, I don't know, but I've certainly had a few wasted half-shots as a result.

We have also noticed it is cheaper to run then bouling the kettle multiple times a day - which is a winner in my eyes! Excellent touch!The manufacturer really thought about the ease of use of this machine, i've never owned a coffee machine like this before, but at no point i was confused as to what i was doing. The machine itself is well thought out, the UI of the touchscreen is of great quality, really simple to use and informative - From finding the coffee you want, to selecting the volume of coffee and the strength. It even asks you if you want to save the section for next time. so if you have a favourite mug, it'll remember the amount of coffee for it.When making an iced coffee, depending on the size of the drink, it tells you how many ice cubes to put in your cup/glass! You can have up to 4 profiles on the machine, so each person can save their own preferences so you don't have to worry about someone else messing up your favourite drink.The software also helps with cleaning and maintenance of the machine and milk carafes - It shows you step by step of how to disassemble, clean and reassemble properly after a certain amount of uses. The screen will also tell you when the empty the drip tray, and coffee collection unit. The settings page also shows you how long left to change the filter, and when it recommends you descale the machine.The hot and cold milk carafes are also really thought out well. They're not huge like other coffee machines i've seen, so don't take a huge amount of room in the fridge. The auto clean function on both works really well too - The machine reminds you to clean them after each use.There is also an app which allows you to connect to machine via Wi-Fi and brew your coffee directly from your phone. It did take me a while to connect the app, but once done - I've had no problems with it. I've read reviews which mention that the grinding of the beans is really loud - In my personal opinion, its an acceptable noise level. It also has the option to use instant coffee, or coffee powder which you can add directly to the machine. Overall, i am extremely happy with this coffee machine - Just expect friends and family to keep popping round for a coffee!!Cons: - Mobile app is a bit clunky and slow. The initial connection time is also quite long.- The option to remove the drip tray to fit a taller cup would be beneficial. I have been using the provided on the go mug, but my partner has her own flask/travel mug, however even after lifting the tray flap, and putting the dispenser to the top, the cup is still too tall. This also the same for wider "mugs" the milk carafe gets in the way to be able to fit a wide mug. - For a machine of this price, it would be nice to receive an espresso and or coffee glass. Would have been the icing on the cake. - It does feel like i constantly have a cup under the coffee dispenser. When you turn it on, it warms up the machine, and throws out some water. Also, when you turn off the machine, it cleans the spout/lines and puts out more water. I know it can go into the drip tray, but i don't like water being there for too long, also it splashes all over the stainless steel tray, and doesn't look great. If i'm in a rush, and just want to grab a coffee and go, i don't want to be cleaning and emptying the tray before i go, knowing its going to clean when the machine auto turns off.
