In my view this product is expensive for what it is. It is difficult to grind small amounts, messy when you take the lid off to remove the ground coffee. Bearing in mind you can purchase a decent burr grinder which does for a similar price, I wonder why anyone buys this. It was a mistake for me I have received a refund and will be purchasing a different grinder instead.
Bought this to replace DeLonghi KG grinder and it's not as good as the old one. The KG is a real grinder not just a a "chopper" and it is more adjustable and has its own timer rather than you holding down the lid/switch.Really disappointed as was very happy with the old one but it's not a patch on the old one although it is better looking it is not as practical and if you take off the lid and put it down you get coffee ever. Was a bit confusing at the start. You do have to keep it pressed down for what feels like an eternity until the first light comes on and it seemed messy to use but now we've got used to it it works perfectly and isn't messy.When finished grinding shake so that the grounds in the top fall back in otherwise it drops coffee everywhere when you open it.Great purchase with a birthday voucher.
I bought a De'Longhi coffee grinder 10 years ago and it needed replacing this year. This version (KG210) is pretty much the same and does a good, reliable job. It's compact and fairly easy to clean ... I wish there was less static and the coffee didn't stick to the lid so much, but it's a small issue.

I bought this for my husband, which he finds works well. However, I was told by John Lewis salesman that the best coffee grinder was the "burr " type. I was told that I was given the burr one when I bought it. However, when unwrapped at home it was found to be the blade type. Both looked the same online when I was shown in the store, so I can see how the wrong type was chosen. Decided not to bother exchanging it as does the job.
Once you grind and remove the top lid, a few of the grinds end up on the countertop requiring clean up each time used. I consider this a design fault, as I bought the grinder to reduce effort. John Lewis won't accept a return which is disappointing so I will be trying with the manufacturer. Unfortunately I didn't read between the lines in a previous review on here, but the same issue is noted even though the reviewer gave it an overall high rating.If you don't want the ongoing mess on your countertop, I suggest you avoid.
