As someone who typically runs triple or quad monitor setups, this screen really changed up my idea of the ideal desk setup. I love the real estate this provides in a single pane of glass. It has some amazing features, like hooking multiple computers up to it and being able to switch between them, as well as viewing multiple computers on the screen at the same time. The colors are great, and the speakers work well. I am really impressed at how this transformed my workday in a positive way.

Overall, the monitor has an excellent display with vibrant colors and sharp image quality. The curvature of the screen enhances the viewing experience, especially when working on multiple tasks simultaneously. The Thunderbolt connectivity is very convenient and allows for easy connection to my laptop and other devices. I am impressed with the monitor's performance and would recommend it to others looking for a high-quality, curved display for their workstation.
I have always been somewhat interested in curved monitors but always viewed them as a gimmick only useful for the occasional movie. The Dell UltraSharp has made me into a believer. The screen real estate has allowed me to go from two monitors to just the Dell and having all my windows open on one cohesive screen has been a game changer. I've been able to set my windows up just right to have a better flow of information on screen at a given time and when I do use the monitor for entertainment, I can still keep a small dedicated section for any work I need to keep tabs on. The speakers sound great for some downtime at my desk and the screen is crisp and clear. Monitors are usually an afterthought for me, but this one has really impressed me and changed my workflow.
When I got this monitor, I was like oh my gosh what am I going to do with this thing? It sat in the box for a few days until I finally broke it out and connected it to my computer. It was like the first time I got a flat screen TV, how am I ever going to get used to the size of this monitor? I plugged it in and played around with the configuration arrangement for a bit. Then I got my epiphany, I was able to split screen it into multiple screen configurations using the Dell Display Manager application. After using it for about two days I thought, man I love this monitor. I've never had that thought before with any other. It truly is cool.
I sought a widescreen monitor that would meet my needs for photo editing and business workflow. I liked the size but never got to photo editing because I found the resolution to be unbearable poor. My former "retina" monitor rendered all letters and numbers crisply. On this monitor, letters and numbers were notched and, at times, downright blurry. Perhaps the monitor was defective and should have been exchanged but I couldn't live with it, didn't want to go through the hassle of an exchange and replaced it with a high resolution 27" monitor. To their credit, Dell made the return easy but due to the 15% restocking fee and the cost of shipping, this was a costly error.
Great monitor with a lot of features I was looking for. The ability to have two computers hooked up and switch between the two is amazing - I can have my keyboard, mouse, webcam, and Scarlett audio interface seamlessly jump from one computer to the other without touching a single cable. The curvature is just right for my work and usage of the display. The auto dimming has definitely reduced my eye strain issues I've been having with my old monitor. The display is clear and crisp with decent color and blacks. I would give this monitor full marks if it was also HDR but since that is a missing feature and they are charging a premium I feel like this is a bit overpriced for what you are getting.
After using this monitor for 2 weeks. I think this is generally a nice monitor with only 2 cons for me:Pros: Color accuracy and contrast ratio is good; the size is perfect for me; monitor stand is compact and elegant; has a ambient light sensor.Cons: Auto brightness control always provide me a relatively low brightness; 120hz is not very useful for a non-gaming monitor.
delighted with this monitor so far, I work as a professional developer with some light gaming. It is perfect, i use a monitor desk clamp but the stand that comes with it is sturdy and will work fine. I have even ditched my desk speakers as I find the ones built into the monitor perfectly decent. This is a very good quality product, i have 0 dead pixels and the text rendering is excellent for programming, reading. Citrix works perfectly as well, so you get ample screen space to work remotely. For those worrying about curve, this is my first ultra widescreen and you barely notice it - the curve is gentle this is not something to worry about.
