We moved into our new home in July 2021 and decided to opt out of central ducted heating when we were designing the floor plan and have a wall heater in the main living space. We've had ducted heating in the past and it's so so expensive to run and very drying. I purchased two of these Delonghi 1500W Radia S Oil Column Heaters for the bedrooms and they are fabulous! Our bedrooms are large and this 1500W does such an amazing job over winter. I will be purchasing another two to have in our study and wheel a spare around for the bathroom and master bedroom. I had read other reviews and heard mostly good things so thought I'd invest in this product only to discover that it's better than I expected. It gets really really cold in Northern regional Victoria, but this heater does the job.

Very disappointed! My previous Delonghi oil heater was less powerful, but much more warmer than my new one I've purchased not long time ago. It takes about an hour (!) to warm the small 12s.meters room a little bit. Also this heater automatically switches off by itself and cooling down, so I even can touch it as it's just a little bit warm and not even hot. With the power of 2400W heater should be hot all the time as it's supposed to warm the room - that's why I have purchased it. NOT happy

Excellent heater - it cooks me!

I bought this heater to use in my study as I work from home and have been feeling the cold this winter. My study is quite a large room the equivalent of a big master bedroom. I turn it on and close the door and within no time I am having to peel jumpers off etc.. In the end I only have it on for a couple of hours and then need to turn it off. I have it on the highest setting [28] and on eco mode.I agree with other reviews that its hard to move on carpet. It has wheels on all 4 corners that fold out. Its easy to useI would have preferred a different colour to black, but that wasn't an optionLili at Harvey Norman in Osborne Park was very helpful with the sale

Great for most people
3 June 2022

This heater has a premium price-tag but it is worth the investment. It heats large rooms to a comfortable level. The wheels are folded underneath when you pull it out of the box, and flip out into position ready-to-go. No having to fuss about with wing-nuts nor screwdrivers like you do with other heaters.I only have one issue with this heater, and this won't be an issue for most people but it is for me; most heaters have a physical flick-switch for it to be turned off and on again. This one doesn't. It has a button that you have to press to toggle the device on and off. This means if it loses power, it will not automatically power on when power is returned. Instead, it will wait to have the button pushed to turn back on.This is probably a preferred feature for ... MoreThis heater has a premium price-tag but it is worth the investment. Instead, it will wait to have the button pushed to turn back on.This is probably a preferred feature for most people, as it will only be on when you tell it you want it to be on. However, it means that you can't automate it to turn off and on at specific times of the day with a smart switch/powerboard. This is something I want out of a heater, and it's the only reason I haven't given it a five-star rating.I did note that when the heater regains power, it did retain the information regarding the settings it had last: temperature, power level, and Eco Mode.If you don't use smart switches to automate your devices (seriously, you should try these. Bunnings sells Arlec Grid-Connect Powerboards and they're fabulous), then this heater will serve you well. The 7 year warranty gave me the peace of mind that I was making a long-term investment in a quality product.

Great unit
30 May 2022

I purchased this heater for my home office. The heating is exactly perfect for the environment. Really comfortable, gentle ambient heating that doesn't create fatigue. A nice looking unit, but it did arrive with a small dent on the R side of the controls. Much as I should have sent it back or asked for a discount, I really needed the benefit of the heat, so kept the slightly damaged unit without lodging a complaint. Fit-for-purpose, even with a superficial imperfection. Delivery was timely. I'm happy with it.

Highly recommend!
24 June 2022

Excellent quality, stylish design and exactly what we needed for our daughters bedroom. Top features include the digital temperature gauge so theres no guessing involved, timer to set on for cold early mornings and its as quiet as a mouse. Teeny tiny negatives would be the beeping when pressing the buttons (although theyre not loud enough to wake a sleeping child), its a bit hard to move on carpet (another handle would fix this) and you cant set the timer to turn on and then off (its one or the other). These things would not deter me from buying it again, nor recommending it! Its a fantastic product and worth every cent!!

Perfect heater for its size. Looks stylish too.
12 July 2022

Had to purchase in an emergency as reverse cycle aircond was on the blink for an elderly relative. Works perfectly, easy to use and digital display helps them with the many functions. Heats up very well for a smaller/mid range wattage heating unit and took the chill of the 5C temperatures off an open plan living area in a Villa. You really do get what you pay for, this unit is more pricey but gives out excellent heat for its size. It has also been used in a bedroom overnight with it set to 23C and it did its job perfectly in regulating the temperature.

Poor timer design
4 July 2022

First off, didnt realize the digital "timer" is not a true 24 hr that you set and forget - it's a delayed start and stop that you have to do every time. But worse, when it delay start, there is a loud beep that will wake you in the quietness of the night. The one who designed this has not thought it through at all. Pity, as the digital thermostat allows you to set a temperature unlike the usual arbitrary low, medium high. If they fix this major timer flaw, I will come back to this model. But I had to swap this for another model with an analogue 24hr timer. The heater swap experience at the O'Connor store in Perth is another story, that I have described on Google reviews.

Safe heater
16 May 2022

I bought this unit to leave largely unattended in a bedroom. Like other electric heaters it's fairly expensive to run but it's ok for me as I have solar panels and it's just to run during the day. It looses heat quite quickly once turned off but works as expected otherwise. A more sophisticated electronic panel is needed to set up and store times and not being able to use an external timer is annoying. Best feature is the (perceived) safety of the unit to leave unattended

Vicki's review of TRRS0715E.G Radia S Oil filled radiator
20 April 2022

Pros: Super easy to operate, great Eco feature, looks stylish (grey colour). Gently and quietly heats a large room without drying out the air. I’ve bought a second one already. Excellent temperature control.I run these on excess solar pv energy during the day to pre-heat the room for the night. Cons: The lock setting is great, but it would be really useful to be able to set a maximum temperature and heat level (e.g. lowest 700w) so that it can’t be turned up to the maximum by others!
