I bought this heater to use in my study as I work from home and have been feeling the cold this winter. My study is quite a large room the equivalent of a big master bedroom. I turn it on and close the door and within no time I am having to peel jumpers off etc.. In the end I only have it on for a couple of hours and then need to turn it off. I have it on the highest setting [28] and on eco mode. I agree with other reviews that its hard to move on carpet. It has wheels on all 4 corners that fold out. Its easy to use I would have preferred a different colour to black, but that wasn't an option Lili at Harvey Norman in Osborne Park was very helpful with the sale

This heater has a premium price-tag but it is worth the investment. It heats large rooms to a comfortable level. The wheels are folded underneath when you pull it out of the box, and flip out into position ready-to-go. No having to fuss about with wing-nuts nor screwdrivers like you do with other heaters. I only have one issue with this heater, and this won't be an issue for most people but it is for me; most heaters have a physical flick-switch for it to be turned off and on again. This one doesn't. It has a button that you have to press to toggle the device on and off. This means if it loses power, it will not automatically power on when power is returned. Instead, it will wait to have the button pushed to turn back on. This is probably a preferred feature for ... MoreThis heater has a premium price-tag but it is worth the investment. However, it means that you can't automate it to turn off and on at specific times of the day with a smart switch/powerboard. This is something I want out of a heater, and it's the only reason I haven't given it a five-star rating. I did note that when the heater regains power, it did retain the information regarding the settings it had last: temperature, power level, and Eco Mode. If you don't use smart switches to automate your devices (seriously, you should try these. Bunnings sells Arlec Grid-Connect Powerboards and they're fabulous), then this heater will serve you well. The 7 year warranty gave me the peace of mind that I was making a long-term investment in a quality product.

I purchased this heater for my home office. The heating is exactly perfect for the environment. Really comfortable, gentle ambient heating that doesn't create fatigue. A nice looking unit, but it did arrive with a small dent on the R side of the controls. Much as I should have sent it back or asked for a discount, I really needed the benefit of the heat, so kept the slightly damaged unit without lodging a complaint. Fit-for-purpose, even with a superficial imperfection. Delivery was timely. I'm happy with it.

Have used it every single night during this cold Melbourne winter (very poorly insulated home). Temp stays consistent, have yet to wake up feeling hotter or colder than when I fell asleep (medium-large size room, floorboards). Would recommend if you have a baby, pretty much silent all night.
Had to purchase in an emergency as reverse cycle aircond was on the blink for an elderly relative. Works perfectly, easy to use and digital display helps them with the many functions. Heats up very well for a smaller/mid range wattage heating unit and took the chill of the 5C temperatures off an open plan living area in a Villa. You really do get what you pay for, this unit is more pricey but gives out excellent heat for its size. It has also been used in a bedroom overnight with it set to 23C and it did its job perfectly in regulating the temperature.
Heats well and good functionality. However produces pervasive plastic/paint/rubber smell that does not go away. After 4 hours was still producing a strong plastic/paint smell. Over the next couple of days it kept producing the smell. So I put it in the shed and left it on high for 2 days straight hoping this would get rid the smell, it didn’t.
Pros: Easy Electronic Control. Well made. Long gurantee. Warms a room well. Does what I need. Cons: I don't think it has settings to give it various times to switch on and off during the day and night. Complex timing settings are not possible.
I bought this heater after comparing with many brand and models. I needed a heater for my 1 month old son. I was looking for health safety and power efficient heater. My room size is 3.5x4.5 firstly I bought 1500w model that was not sufficient for big room then I exchanged that with 2400w. It heats the rooom in 15 minutes and love the eco function which operate the heater at minimal energy. As per instruction the very first time I start it on full temp for 2 hours and I feel some new smell only for 10 minutes then after that till now never feel any smell. It has thermostat which help to retain the temp. I m very happy with this purchase. Will recommend this product to everyone as it also come with 7 year warranty. Don’t go for any cheap it is worth buying.
Great heater, using in kids room over night as the winter night's are so cold. Heats up fast and is silent. Keeps the room at a steady temp all night and the eco mode is great, keeps it from using too much power. I set the temp around 16 but because the room is smallish it gets to about 18-19. Said it's white but came black like the pic! Very happy seems like great quality and will last for many many years.
Pros: Super easy to operate, great Eco feature, looks stylish (grey colour). Gently and quietly heats a large room without drying out the air. I’ve bought a second one already. Excellent temperature control.I run these on excess solar pv energy during the day to pre-heat the room for the night. Cons: The lock setting is great, but it would be really useful to be able to set a maximum temperature and heat level (e.g. lowest 700w) so that it can’t be turned up to the maximum by others!
