Love this! I've used it several times now, it makes approximately half a mug of coffee or upto 4 espressos. The instructors aren't the greatest, but it's pretty straightforward. If they sold and 8-12 cup one I'd definitely snap it up!!

Brought this just before Christmas and it has been in daily use. I was particularly drawn to it as it doesn’t use filters or pods…. Just ground coffee. Also I was worried about using a stove top one and forgetting it so this ticked all the boxes for me. Quick and easy to use once you get used to it and easier to clean out than my old cafetière. Only complaint is that is doesn’t make more than two cups at a time. That said the coffee is expresso strength so can be used to make a latte style coffee very easily. Very pleased with my purchase

Excellent quality but advertised as 2 - 4 cups. This is nonsense, one reasonably sized cup at most. I note that De'Longhi make a larger version. I can see why on special offer - capacity too small for most people. So disappointed.

Purchased a month ago and am really pleased. Had been using the stove top version which makes great coffee, so was intrigued to try the electric version and was not disappointed. Use it in conjunction with my milk frother to make my version of a latte. Great little machine.
After a week of use I’m really impressed with this electric moka pot. It’s very simple to use, just add water to the bottom chamber, there’s minimum and maximum water level markings inside but I can’t see why you’d ever use the minimum as this only makes espresso cup amounts of coffee or maybe half a standard mug. Fill the funnel with your favourite coffee, there’s a little metal circular disc that sits on top of the coffee, it’s thin and will bend easily (the only negative I found) so don’t over tighten the the pot! Within minutes you have freshly brewed coffee. The keep hot function is another plus. No filter paper or fussy add ons to buy and it’s very quick and easy to clean. All in all a great which I highly recommend.
What a great appliance! We have used stove top espresso makers for years but this is so simple and quick. The coffee is great and the machine will do two strong coffees. We had a bean to cup machine, but they are super complicated and take regular cleaning and descaling. This is great!
Very happy with the quality of the coffee (strong with little sediment) at a good price. However, De'Longhi clearly didn't want to pay for multiple translations of the operating instructions, so instead they just give you an inadequate set of drawings ... would have got 5 stars if not for this.
Excellent product, just what I was after. It's ideal for work where I do not have a hob. Easy to use, makes single quantity as well, and keeps my coffee warm until I am ready to drink it. The only thing to test is the type of coffee to use. For me it works well with good quality medium (rather than finely) ground coffee.
Smaller than I expected! I have two other moka pots, and love the coffee they make. Suggesting that this is 2 and 4 cups is a bit of a joke. Unless you are talking about actual espresso cups. But I like a mug of strong black coffee, and this produces half a mug on the "4 cup" setting! The coffee is nice, it's pretty quick at about 3 minutes from cold, and it's no more, or less, hassle than any other moka pot. I could also use it on a timer plug if I wanted, as it also has a keep warm function, but my tiny coffee never lasts that long, and 3 minutes is no wait at all. I've not tried it yet, but the coffee would make a nice latte or similar.
Idiot proof, great tasting coffee for very little effort. The one point I would make is, even Even though this says 2-4 cups, a full brew is really a decent half mug of coffee which can then be topped up with milk. Two smaller 'cups' topped with milk at a push, but for me, it makes a great mugful of coffee in the morning, just as fast as it would take to make a cup of instant coffee, just seriously much better. I love it.
