It took a while to realise I need to press first on how many beans it should have.
Pros: Not only does it do bean to cup. There is also another compartment for ground coffee so best of both worlds. However, fresh ground beans give a better flavour. Amazing, incredible, fantastic, awesome coffee machine. It's worth the expense, because you can source ethical coffee beans at very low prices. It works out far more economical than buying freeze dried, or aluminium pods over a twelve month period, I drink about five cups a day. The range of features means you can drink it exactly as you like. The only downside is the size, basically if you have company and need more than 5/6 cups at a time the water tank is to small and you keep having to refill. Should the manufacturer read this, would it be possible to get a larger water tank? It seems that the proportions are perfect for a 227g bag of beans, perfect for a weeks worth of beans but I'm always filling up the water. In summary though it makes better beverages than ... Pros: Still experimenting but very easy to use, nice cup of coffee.Cons: Coffee not hot enough, have found heat setting (on high) but still not hot enough. But still experimenting so may work it out.

I have been really pleased with the consistent texture of the milk foam. There are three settings to provide milk for latte, flat white and cappuccino-style drinks. With my previous machine, it often sputtered a bit and produced very loose foam at times... Bought to replace Gaggia Classic. Set up and worked without problems. Initially disappointed with milk based coffee, though straight espresso/ristretto fine. The problem with milkies is that frothed milk goes in first, followed by coffee, so that lovely crema taste is lost under the milk. I now heat cup and a jug with boiling water, then draw off either a doppio or an espresso (having dialled in extra strength), THEN draw off milk in heated jug to pour into coffee in true barista style. This gives much improved flavour sensation and an excellent cappucino. Cleaning is very easy, though haven't yet had to descale or clean the infuser. Pros: Very nice to use especially when you have arthritis. Buttons are big enough for you to grip.Cons: Could make the coffee collection part easier to clean. Without the tiny compartment inside the main part.
Pros: As long as you read the instructions it is easy to use and programme the coffee for your taste and size of cup/mug.Makes a nice hot cup of coffee providing you heat your cup first, hot tap water is good enough to do the jobCons: You have to keep an eye on the drip tray or it overflows, the built in warning isn't obvious enough. The water tank constantly needs filling.....or perhaps I'm drinking too much coffee!
