Makes great beans to cup Coffee without the complexity and price tag of some other models.Being a Latte drinker, I particularly love the Milk Tank because it's much easier to use and clean than the steam wand that comes with many b2c machines and has to be taken apart to clean after every use. A light does come on when they're full but I tend to empty them when refilling the Water, which seems to need refilling after about 4-5 Coffees, so not too high maintenance. The filters aren't cheap but last 2 months (as opposed to 1 on the filter jug I used to use to fill my old machine) and because the filter's built in, you can fill the tank straight from the tap without having to wait to filter the water first. I've added the filters to my regular subscription order so get a 15% discount on a pack of 2 for under £20 that will last 4 months, once the one that came with the machine has expired, so not too bad at £5 per month compared to the cost of coffee shops!The buttons are easy to programme with your preferred strength and proportions of Milk to Coffee. You can either pre programme them to make a large drink up front, or I believe you can use the 2x button to double up a single. This feature is also supposed to enable you to make 2 drinks at once but obviously only works for black coffees because you can't fit 2 cups under the one milk nozzle!The only drawback I've found after a week's daily use is the temperature of the Coffee, which, as mentioned by a number of other reviewers, is a little on the low side. I've turned the temperature of the Coffee up to maximum but I think perhaps the Milk cools it down and that can't be adjusted. It isn't a huge problem, as I do usually drink my Coffee straightaway and it's fine, but it could be a deal breaker if you like your Coffee really hot. I will try pre warming my mug with hot water first to keep it hotter for longer.Other than that, the only thing to get used to is that it's a good idea to get into the habit of placing a mug under the machine when switching it on and off because it goes through a cleaning cycle that releases water every time (including when switching itself off automatically after the set time of inactivity). The drip tray will catch it but it will obviously fill up a lot quicker and leave splash marks on the drip tray, which can be avoided by keeping a spare mug handy. It's also useful for the milk cleaning cycle, so I just keep one on the draining board and good to go!Would definitely recommend this machine for great value Beans to Cup Coffee and ease of use.

Pros: Excellent coffee machine, with the "one press buttons" for drinks like latte and cappuccino this has been a total game changer. Can use existing mugs, latte glasses etc as the spout height is adjustable.Was put off by some reviews saying milk not hot enough - not the case! Even with milk straight from the fridge. You don't need to pre-heat glasses or anything fancy, it's fine. Drinks are perfectly hot enough, poured at the "not quite ready to drink yet" temperature. Pros: My first proper coffee machine. Got in to coffee with the Tasimo. 2 years later decided to go for the good stuff. Looked on Amazon and found ground to bean machines for under £400 but reviews stated great starting machine??? So saved some more and went for the above £500 bracket. Works great and easy to clean and refill. Makes a great coffee, i tend to stick to cappuccino. Happy customer, a lot to spend but its what they go for so can’t grumble too much. Hopefully will last a long time.Cons: 1.8 litre tank needs filling every other day on average as water is also spent on cleaning. Ok but could be bigger tank.

Luke warm at best

Firstly I have to say that the grinder and steamer is amazing, great tasting coffee and very easy to use. Now to the negatives the milk steamer leads to a very luke warm coffee at best even when set on the hottest setting. If you are making a number of coffees it does get warmer but the first is mediocre. It also uses a lot of water through the startup, cleaning and shutdown phases. About 400mls through that process which seems a huge waste. This then leads to the fact that it now asks for a descale every few days due to the quantity of water it pumps through. I rarely need to descale anything else here with soft water so again seems overkill. I cannot fault the build quality as Delonghi always does well in that space. Not worth the price

I purchased this product with no intention of buying a new machine, however the sales technique used persuaded me into buying this product. It has been a waste of almost $1,200 - I was presented with a demo in store of an upgraded machine, the coffee that was made came out hot at a standard 65 degrees, this machine however does not produce a hot coffee. I made sure Energy Saving Mode was turned off and the temperature was set at the highest. Water comes out of the machine nice and hot but the milk barely comes out warm. For an expensive machine I would expect a quality hot coffee. I had been in contact with the store and was advised somebody would be in contact with me within 24-48hrs - 5 days later I have still not received any communication from the store. Risky Purchase

The machine was easy enough to setup. There is some playing around to get your drink settings just right and that uses a fair bit of coffee but be prepared to go through the process and throw lots of coffee away to start with. The negatives to the machine in my experience so far is the temperature sores not seem to be hot enough even at the highest setting for the first couple of drinks. If you make a few in a row they get hotter but the first two are not at the set temperature. The biggest worry is the milk frothed issue after descale. It fails to pour milk and just gurgles and spits steam. This is a common issue and has resulted in many people having to send their machine back for repairs.
