Pros: It's simply and utterly GORGEOUS-!! ? (Only I could get excited about a kettle-!! ?) Have had DÄLonghi's for several years now-lasted until I decided to change them too-!! So quiet compared to my old red Argento kettle, boils very quick also. The base feels very sturdy and the metal kettle has a super large opening-no risk of scratching the powder coating around the top too, as the coating is slightly down/away from the rim (this was a nightmare for the Argento scratching, even just placing the lid back-!!). Some whine about how hot the kettle becomes-I was always tought not to touch hot things-metal containing hot water-it's common sense really... Was a tad worried looking at the handle on this new Metallic range online due to rheumatoid arthritis in fingers ...Ā MorePros: It's simply and utterly GORGEOUS-!! ? Was a tad worried looking at the handle on this new Metallic range online due to rheumatoid arthritis in fingers & wrists-I can't hold my favourite of all kettles-retro/top handles-ā¹ļø-but I can grip this with ease as I would say it's slightly wider and better shaped than standard kettles. Water level is fine to see, some say difficult due to being slightly opaque-I fear it may spoil the aesthetics somewhat if clear. It also has a nice steady, albeit slower than other kettles, consistant pour and a firm click of the lid. Very nicely built, especially the matching colour lead and plug-why has nobody else thought of this before-!!!! I teased my son for ages saying I want a pink kettle for my birthday-he saw it (& paid for it ? & said how nice it is. It is-!!-It's a beautiful muted pinky-grey, almost a touch of purple/lilac-(not bright pink luckily) metallic colour-I LOVE THIS KETTLE-!! ⤠(So much so-I bought the toaster-!! ?)Cons: Please please PLEASE DÄLonghi-make a microwave to match-!! ?? Now THAT is one thing I would rush out and buy to complete my life-lollll-!! ? ?

Pros: Iāve had this kettle for a few months now and I am still so so happy with it! As an avid tea/coffee drinker it gets a lot of use! It looks absolutely stunning in my kitchen, the design and the colour are gorgeous and you can tell that it is a premium product! It feels sturdy and well made, it heats the water up in no time at all and is much quieter than the cheaper brands that I have had in the past. It holds a good amount of water (cuppa and my hot water bottle on a night!) I really canāt fault this kettle and Iām so pleased I spent a little extra to get it.Cons: Nothing that I would improve, I am really happy with the kettle.

Pros: Love the design, the handle feels comfortable and is easy to pour. Mum has arthritis and rotating her wrist is problematic and this design makes it really easy for her to use.Ultimately its a kettle that boils water when you want it, it matches the toaster nicely and its comfortable to hold and use. If this is enough for you I would recommend the purchaseCons: The side water gauge is pretty useless. The lowest mark it measures is 1 litre which is miles to big if you're only boiling a few cups. The position and clarity of the gauge is also much too hard to read. We've got a work around by using the badge indents as a rough guide for our use but it isn't brilliant. The lip around the spout holding the limescale filter is also rather deep so there's a lot of water retained when pouring as it cant get past the lip. Which makes the screen useless for the rest of the water as you have to pour it out of the top to remove it from the kettle. To me these are fairly big flaws that I wouldn't have expected to have needed to look out for when buying a kettle. The ability to brew a single cup is still there but you have to use your own guesswork to make sure that you have enough coverage not to boil dry and damage the kettle. Which is a very poor user experience especially in this climate of minimising ones energy usage by boiling only what you need. I would certainly make more of a point of looking out for these features for the next kettle I buy but that's just me. If you're boiling at least a litre every time you use the kettle then these issues are largely irrelevant and I would still recommend the product. But I would caution anyone who wants to use this regularly for small batches that this is an issue to be aware of.The only final niggle is the on switch. it feels rather light and cheap and doesn't have a satisfying click to show that you've switched it on. It has a very delicate feeling and the only way you know its then on is the little light on the side. This alone wouldn't put me off buying another, but I would recommend to the manufacturer that it should be considered for improvement in any product upgrades that may occur

We love our new DeLonghi kettle and toaster.Replaced our older kettle and toaster, which lasted years and were also DeLonghi.New appliances match our new home.Easy to keep clean. Also purchased together at a great price.
I bought the kettle online as I liked its design, color and shape as well as its basic functions. Having used it for quite some time now, I have to say if I had the opportunity, I would not buy this product again because the lid is to be manually opened and I find it really difficult to open it. Now when I fill up water, I just use the chute directly without taking the lid off. This has been possible because Iām taking water from my filtered water tap, which is much smaller than the normal tap. The other imperfection is that its water indicator cannot be seen clearly as it blends in with the colour of the water tube. As a result, I often fill up more water than I wished for, which is really annoying. The other imperfection is that its water indicator cannot be seen clearly as it blends in with the colour of the water tube. As a result, I often fill up more water than I wished for, which is really annoying. Of course, having no temperature indicators adds another layer of inconvenience. I assume this might be a price issue. All in all, I would not buy this product in the future though I like the the design, color and simplicity.
I wanted this particular colour as it is the same as my toaster and bread bin. I purchased the kettle when it was on sale, so I was very happy at the time. When I used it first time, I was really disappointed. Although the kettle is metallic, the water gage is a rubber tube that sits on the back of the kettle. This gets really hot and for someone like myself who has a disability, it is really tricky to avoid the back of my hand touching this each time I lift the kettle.
For a normal price this kettle would be OK, but I thought that by paying more for delight I would be getting better quality. The base looks like cheap plastic although the finish of the actual kettle is nice. The lid is difficult to get off and doesn't have a button to flip, which most kettles have nowadays. But the most annoying feature is that it's almost impossible to see how full the kettle is without picking it up. The gauge is very narrow, gets steamed up and is hidden behind the handle.A disappointing purchase and a lesson to not buy items like this online without seeing it properly
Good Points: Beautiful accurate pour, this kettle has class. Well balanced in terms of weight when pouring. Slightly longer flex than average kettle which enabled me to move base away from under the kitchen cupboard so steam doesnāt affect cupboard. Flex stores coiled under base if you want it shorter though. My daughter and I race to make our cuppas now, an aesthetic experience!Improvement Points: Not quite so easy to see level of fill line through indicator as it is sited in line with handle and water level not always obvious but it means the front of the kettle looks great, the light up āonā indicator is discrete.
