Performance:does not workValue For Money:no value at allThe grinder grinds very unevenly. The switch of model K210 that is supposed to adjust grind size is simply a joke, be it coarse or fine, the outcome are both similarly uneven. Can’t use the grind on french press, not to even mention filter. Has to dump it. A useless object. Surprised that a global brand name would allow such product to be in the market.

Advertised as not working/parts only however after removing the walnuts from between the burrs, it's a runner! A bladed grinder or a pestel & mortar might've been a better job for the walnuts!

Whether grinding coffee for 1 cup or 10 cups... It's a breeze.I love this coffee grinder. Looks good, compact easy to use and easy to clean. After grinding my coffee, I use a soft brush to clean out the coffer particles in the grinder and I'm ready for my next coffee grind... I would definitely recommend it.

I removed the coffee grinder from the box full of hope and happiness to find it doesn't work!!! I think it is the on/off switch that is the problem. What is annoying is I live in Hillcrest and I now have to go all the way back to Umhlanga to exchange it.Neither Delonghi nor Yuppiechef can make a plan for me to exchange it in Hillcrest or somewhere nearby where they stock Delonghi products. What a waste of time and energy, not sure I want another one.Update: I was super impressed by Yuppiechef who responded timeously to my complaint. They arranged for the item to be collected from my home and the money to be refunded within a week.Fantastic service thank you, much appreciated
The De'Longhi KG79 coffee grinder is the first grinder I have bought. I looked around, read the reviews and decided I wanted a burr grinder not the kind with a blade whizzing round. On opening the box my first impression was that it was a solid piece of kit. Dark brown, reasonably heavy with plastic containers for the beans and the resulting ground coffee. It fits easily on my kitchen counter under the cupboard. The dials for 'grind' and number of cups are clear and easily accessible. Although, as often with coffee machines, I use 2 cups to mean one mug. The top 'burr' inside the bean container is easy to take off with a twist for cleaning. The grinder is noisy in operation, which you would expect, but not excessively. The top 'burr' inside the bean container is easy to take off with a twist for cleaning. The grinder is noisy in operation, which you would expect, but not excessively. I've used the grinder for both a small amount of beans for immediate drinking and to grind enough to fill my usual coffee container so that I have coffee in the early morning without waking the family. I like the fact I can grind a lot of coffee if I wish rather than the spoonful that smaller grinders allow. It turns itself off when it has finished the grind but it can make an alarming noise if it runs out of beans during a grind! All in all I'm very happy with it and I hope it gives me many years of freshly ground coffee.
