OK to start off I have always been a yamaha av receiver user for over 30 years. The denon x1700h was easy to set up the mic was very accurate and sound quality was way better than expected. You would be hard pressed to find a better receiver at this price point. Just two little niggles changing to 4ohm speakers you will have to download the manual to change it from 8ohms to 6 or 4 ohms (but still easy to do) and it would be nice to be able to add a power amplifier. But overall a great av receiver fantastic sound and more than enough power 5 stars

I used to own an 8-yr old Yamaha AV 7.1 receiver and I thought it was all good. But when I decided to purchase this Denon X1700H, it has really changed the way I hear sounds especially when paired with my Quad bookshelves and a JBL subwoofer. The sound clarity and the power it gives the speaker is unbelievably good at its price point. Not to mention the 4K and 8K specs and Wifi & bluetooth connectivity which missed very much. The Audyssey set up has also made my life easier setting up the sounds.CHT Solutions and Scott has been very prompt to respond and ship the items. I will never hesitate to buy from them again. More power to CHT Solutions!

Got an entry level AV Receiver this is absolutely fantastic. Replaced my old Onkyo which I got second hand seven years ago so I was super excited to finally get my hands on a brand new receiver. Also got it on an offer so the price was great too! Super chuffed.
I recently made the big switch from HD to 4K and this unit solved all the issues that comes with that. It’s multiple outputs and easy to configure system made it a breeze to connect and set up for gaming use.
And a great price. The guide and set up wizard are ok, but if you dont keep your eyes on the settings it can cause a bit of head scratching. Recommend the app and checking all the menus it works out in the end! Once done though it is really worth it
