I received this Super Rich Repair complimentary from Dermalogica in exchange for my review. Let me start by saying I absolutely love Dermalogica. I’ve tried several products in their line and they’ve all been fantastic, quality products. This moisturizer was no different. The bottle is sleek and classic and feels good in my hand. The pump works great and I love that I don’t have to dip my fingers into a jar to get the product out. This definitely cuts down on the risk of bacteria being introduced into the product and I really appreciate this. A little bit of the product goes a long way so one or two pumps suffices for me. I use this in the morning and at night but I have very dry skin. But for those with dry skin, twice a day is fine. I mix it with my foundation in the morning and that’s been working great. There hasn’t been any pilling at all. I love this product so much. Purchased at Sephora. This is the Dermalogica nourishing agent defending cream for dry skin types. This is a thicker cream that absorbs fairly quickly. This does have some pore clogging ingredients so it might not work for some acne prone skin types. I use this in the evenings when I go to bed. It’s too rich for me to apply before my makeup. This soothes and hydrates dry skin with peptides, shea butter, and primrose oil. There are also antioxidants in the mix. This has a slight fragrance that disappears a few minutes after application

I received this product free for testing. This is a thick cream and feels like it should be very moisturizing. I tested it for a few nights, which is probably not enough to really see any results in regards to anti-aging. The directions recommend putting this on in the morning and at night. I will say right now, it does not sink in well enough for me to feel comfortable using it in the morning. I can put it on at night, and still feel a layer on my skin when I wake up (and I have tried less amounts to make sure I wasn't overdoing it.) I also do not notice much of a difference in my skin the morning after. Some moisturizers leave my skin glowing and clear and even the morning after. There are also moisturizers that leave my skin feeling much softer to the touch after applying and sinking in. This product did neither of those things. My skin did not look smoother, it was not softer, it was not more hydrated. In fact, I ended up with a few blemishes in places I do not typically get them. You also have to make sure to apply a separate sunscreen, because this does not include any. All in all, I feel like this is over priced for it's performance. I have drugstore moisturizers that are MUCH less expensive. They include sunscreen, don't make me breakout, and leave my skin soft, bright, and even-toned - something this cream failed to do with a much higher price tag. If you can get a sample to try and find this works for you, great! Otherwise, I would recommend skipping this one.

Works so good if you have really dry skin. This helped when nothing else would. My only drawback is that it contains Shea butter which can be poor clogging on some people (myself included) so it can cause some acne. Overall I recommend it if you have extremely dry, cracking, uncomfortable skin but if you are acne prone skip it or have your acne remedies on hand for any pop up acne.

For my dry skin during winter, I like to use heavyweight cream to restore and maintain hydration and this works like a dream! It's rich and takes a bit to evenly spread all over my face. Once it's applied, it feels okay, a little weighted but comfortable. I would only wear this at night. It's way too heavy for me to wear during the day if I wear makeup but on my off days, I don't mind having this on. Some of the highlighted ingredients are shea butter, primrose oil, and powerful peptides. It defends against environmental stressors, especially for sensitive skin. This 1.7 fl oz pump bottle goes for $89. Overall, it's fantastic for winter and I wouldn't mind picking this when it's cold again.

Amazing. The word to describe this product is amazing. I have dry skin and have a hard time finding the right moisturizer for night and day time. I was at work one day, I work in a salon, when my manager gave me a few samples of different Dermalogica samples. Super Rich Repair was one of them; she actually gave me 3. I fell in love with it. I bought a full size. The way my makeup glides on now is mind blowing. The little cracks I thought were wrinkles went away, it was from my dry skin. The amazing amount of moisture being deposited into my skin is like magic. I am 30 and feel like I look 21 now! I definitely recommend everyone tries this product.
