Dermalogica Breakout Clearing Foaming Wash 295 ml

I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! I really wanted to give this brand a third try despite the negative reactions I have had in the past caused by this brand, but I thought since this is a different line of theirs, maybe it'll be better. I wish I never even put this stuff on my face and learned my lesson not once, not twice, but three times now. Keep in mind, I only used this cleanser ONCE (thank God). As I am typing this, I am currently on day 2 now of a red, extremely itchy face caused by this here product! The morning after trying this out, I actually woke up with two pimples then as the day progressed, the itchy sensation did as well and today I woke up with a red face. Clean and radiant

This is a great product. I use this first because it deep cleans. Then I've been using the rice microfoliant to follow. My face feels amazing afterwards, smooth and radiant. It's definitely a great kit to initially start your day.My only complaint would be that it doesn't foam up as much as other products I've used. It's more viscous than the Nuetragena "orange" face wash. I can measure the difference but I don't have a family to share their reviews.

Clean skin

I bought this for myself as I have been having issues with my oily, spot--prone skin. I have used it for a few days now and I really like it! This cleanser, along with the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant (really recommend that also) have drastically improved my skin in only a short period of time. The cleanser foams really nicely and leaves my skin feeling very soft, clean and clear. It has a slight lime scent if I could describe it but its not strong at all nor is it unpleasant.

FOR THOSE WITH CYSTIC ACNE

I'm leaving this review because I've seen so many people who need help finding a system that works for them and I finally found something that works for me and thought I should share it.First and foremost, if you've never used a super high quality skin line, be prepared for your skin to purge before your skin becomes amazing. It doesn't happen over night for most people. This happens even with professional skin lotions and treatments like Acutane because it's pulling out all the gross stuff from your skin out. After my skin stopped being so sensitive from using it, I started to just deal with the acne and try some brands to see what happens but nothing ever really helped for very long.I use Dermalogica's sport sunscreen and it's amazing and the only sunscreen to not block my pores. My skin is combo, but gets oily quickly especially during the summer. I try and use natural products as much as possible from other brands and I've tried African black soap, but even those have clogged my pores and hurt my sensitive skin.I finally tried this face wash and it's only been about 3 weeks and I can tell the difference already I wish I could upload a picture but it's been an incredible change. My big cystic acne spots are almost completely gone and even my dark spots seem to be going away and I'm positive it's from using this face wash.I ordered their fizzy blackhead wash a little but afterwards and I feel like that's helped a bit too.I no longer use moisturizers because I feel like it's just a little too much for my skin and have noticed I get more acne overall when I moisturize my skin when it's not super dry like in winter.I do use a vitamin C serum from Cerave after I wash my face just so it's somewhat moisturized but it's super light and your face might feel slightly dry if you're not used to not using moisturizer, but it's helped me a ton to stop getting so many breakouts. I've been using this serum for a couple months and it's been helping with dark spots from acne, but now I use it after using this face wash and it's the perfect amount of moisture.I use this morning and night, sometimes in the evening if I've been outside a lot.So overall, if you have cystic acne, give this a try!Use this face wash and the Cerave serum and I hope it works as well for you as it has for me. I also use a pink drying lotion from Mario B. for new or stubborn acne, but I almost don't have to use it ever because my skin has been so tame from using this face wash.

I love Dermalogica! All of the products I have tried and use regularly are great! The customer service is amazing, if you have any issues at all they accommodate accordingly.I love the breakout clearing line of products! This face cleanser foams very well and leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft to the touch. It is not harsh on my skin and doesn’t leave me feeling overly dry. I follow with the breakout clearing booster only when needed and the aqua jelly moisturizer.I will say that if you are using another acne treatment at the moment STOP using it before you try this one or you will most likely have a reaction. Just what I needed

I'll be honest, ive been neglecting my skin for a good bit of 2023. Miceller water and moisturizer has been my go to. I suffer from eyelid eczema and with the fall months and lower humidity coming, I've noticed it starting to flare back up. I also noticed it seemed to be spreading above my brow and under my lip. I was looking for a deep hydration routine to try and get back on track. It wasn't working except for on my eyelid. I then noticed the new spots weren't dry patches, but very fine blackheads. This formula has been surprisingly gentle considering it's acne targeted. I haven't had any drying but I do have combination skin so I have a lot of extra oil in the warm months. Winter may be different. I plan to continue using the rest of the bottle and then transitioning to every other day once I'm back on track. I thought it would take 2 weeks or so to notice a change, so I'm beyond happy it is already making a difference. It will definitely stay in my new routine.

Not just for teens! Dermalogica is Clean Effective skin care

I am 50 and have used Dermalogica products for years (I discovered this brand when I was 25 ). I considered their products a "splurge" when I was younger, Dermalogica was not really heard of then and you could only find it at specialty upscale Day Spas and could not get their products just anywhere. It was sometimes a challenge, but I managed to find their products. My skin is flawless (so, I am told by many). I have used the Clear Start Breakout wash for years. I do not have acne; however, my skin is very oily. I love this cleanser. I strongly believe, it has kept my skin from forming acne due the cleanser. I also think a MAJOR game changer is the daily micro exfoliant powder. I only use it maybe 4x a week just in the morning or night after I cleanse. This prevents blackheads/breakouts and your skin will feel absolutely amazing, soft and clean but not stripped and dry. I finish by using the Multi active toner. I use a non Dermalogica face lotion that is very light and oil free. If you are breaking out and younger, give the jelly lotion in the clear start line a try. Remember, Dermalogica's products last a good while. It takes me forever to go thru a bottle of the cleanser, toner and the daily micro exfoliant. I hope this helps !

I’ve used the same charcoal face wash for years but decided to give this a go. Best decision I’ve made in a while. I use this product in the shower. If I happen to have makeup on it’s great at removing it all. I have noticed a decrease in acne (the more you use it the more it works) Definitely recommend. I have combined skin where my nose is either really dry or super oily (no in between) but this has levelled it out completely where my face my now moisturised and no longer feeling dry or tight after the shower. My face looks bright and glowy without being oily or greasy. Let my boyfriend use it on his face and his back acne and he really likes it. Works so well

Not sure why the reviews of the serum are on here but I'm reviewing the Clear Start Breakout foaming body wash. I've used other Salicylic body washes, but this one works so well! I'm not sure whats different about it but it leaves my skin feeling so soft! It lathers really well and its kept my arms and back clear and so soft. Even my mom was impressed, since my whole family and I have keratosis pilaris on our arms. My arms are baby soft! I highly recommend. I've been using it consistently for two weeks now.If only it wasn't so expensive!! I can afford it but it's probably hard to justify for many people.
