I recently tried the Oil to Foam Total Cleanser that I received complimentary from Dermalogica, and I must say, it is an absolute game-changer! Firstly, I love the concept of an oil-based cleanser that transforms into a luxurious foam upon contact with water. The texture feels incredibly smooth and lightweight on my skin, making it a pleasure to use. It effortlessly melts away all traces of makeup, dirt, and impurities of the day, leaving my face feeling refreshed and clean.Another thing I love about this cleanser is its ability to deeply cleanse without stripping my skin of its natural moisture. This is a decent basic cleanser but theres not much more to it. The gel oil is super runny and liquidy and almost immediately turns to foam whether on dry, damp, or wet skin. It struggled to take off my non-waterproof mascara that usually melts off immediately with other cleansing oils and balms. As someone who loves an oil based cleanser, this is just nowhere near that experience, much more like a simple gel to foam. It does however get nicely foamy and is very gentle so I would definitely recommend this for sensitive or irritated skin, along with another makeup remover if needed. I wasn't sure what to expect from this - I've tried other "oil to foam" cleansers that do nothing in the first "phase"- but this one has a nice thick consistency you can rub easily around a damp face to remove sunscreen & makeup. Then, add more water and it foams up and washes really clean. It has no scent and no residue. It does not remove waterproof makeup by itself, but I use a small makeup eraser cloth on my eyes before washing the rest of my face off and that works fine. I really don't need a second cleanse with this, so that's a huge bonus! It also removes well with a wet cloth. It's a HUGE bottle that will last me a year! Gifted by dermalogica for my review.

I like the packaging and it’s easy to pour the product out even though it’s not on a pump. I always apply this cleansing oil to dry skin to remove all my makeup and skincare from the day. Dermalogica(complimentary gift) has my top favorite makeup removing and facial cleanser products I was very excited to get this oil to foam cleanser I’ve not tried yet. And it performs just like you expect Dermalogica top products to work. I worked it into my skin dry and you could easily see makeup dissolving off the skin, then adding a bit of water I got the foaming cleanser aspect to help remove even more. I liked the feel of it on my skin massaging it around, it rinsed off completely, no greasy mess, and my skin was not stripped or tight. And it removed my makeup really good. I like it’s just one step for days I don’t any to double cleanse. Love this new option to go with my other fav Dermalogica cleanser option.
OK THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE !! This is hands down my new holy grail face wash, dermologica never lets me down. First off, the oil to foam consistency of this product is lovely ! At first, the oil glides onto my skin and It really breaks down all the dirt and every trace of makeup then it turns into a foam which really lathers everything off leaving my skin feeling super soft, fresh and clean. This stuff feels like a miracle. My sensitive skin loves it. This is so much fun to use, my skin feels clean and I actually trust that it gets rid of everything. You don’t even need to double cleanse with this but if you do i recommend the dermologica oat milk micellar pre cleanse because that with this is the ultimate skincare combo thank me later! I received a sample complimentary from Dermalogica in exchange for my honest opinion. I thought I was going to receive a full size, but it's a sample, so there wasn't enough product to try and use to leave a comprehensive review.I used up the sample, it only has enough for 3 uses, so my opinion is based on the three times I was able to try.It's a good, gentle cleanser, but it failed in taking off my makeup fully and my skin felt too dry after.It left a squeaky, clean feeling, but I'm not really into that and need more moisture.If your skin is more oily and you're using it without makeup to wash off, I think it will be good for you.But the price point and my personal needs for it, don't align. Overall, I would say it's good under certain conditions, just not for me.
