A perfect night time cream for very dry to combination skin, won't break out

I absolutely adore this cream. It works beautifully on the very dry areas of the face, taking away the flakiness and it does not feel oily on the skin at all. I use it mainly as a night cream.I have combination skin, with dry areas around the mouth line and am now breaking out due to menopausal hormone imbalance. I use prescription topical tretinoin and this cream really helps to not dry out my skin. I wake up with very soft skin that has been soothed so much. It is fine for acne prone skin as it is non acnegenic and won't block the pores. Most recommended.

Could Have Been Perfect

I wish high-quality skin care companies like Dermalogica would understand the importance of making products without the added scent and fragrances. Yes, that includes the powerful aromatic plant essential oils that are essence and aroma by definition. This entire formula would have been perfect if they removed the Ylang-Ylang FRAGRANCE AROMA OIL. I am so tired of being restricted to using CereVe products, simply because high quality skin care products have to add the fragrance in for asthetic reasons. If someone wants to drop their essential oils in or spray some fragrance on themselves, that should be an individual choice.. Why can't they understand there are millions of people with allergies to fragrances and scented products. Great product for dry and sensitive skin

This thick, white cream is great for those whom have dry and sensitive skin types. I would recommend it for normal skin too. It is definitely something that once you put on, quenches the thirst your dry skin has had, on a molecular level with the Hyaluronic Acid Complex. Normally I would suggest something with more glycerin in it but this cream does a perfectly adequate job of hydrating normal, dry and sensitive skin types. And it keeps skin hydrated for more than just the one day. It is supposed to keep hydrating the skin for up to 48 hours. I do think it accomplishes this because my skin didn't feel dry after using it for at least 1 1/2 days. It does have two types of Hyaluronic Acid high up on the ingredients list. But it still hydrates extremely well. It just hydrates without feeling like it is as heavy on the skin as some other creams for dry skin. The main extracts in this cream are also very soothing to sensitive skin too, making this cream great for anyone with dry, sensitive skin who needs something soothing for their skin. I found it very soothing and hydrating to my skin. I happen to have very dry skin.

I am no a Dermalogica believer

This is the first Dermalogica product I have tried. I bought it because I was interested in another moisturizer from the brand but it was quite expensive for a brand I have never tried before so this was sort of a trial product. Let me tell you, first time I tried it was enough to rave about it. I have very dry/dehydrated skin and I've been trying moisturizers for so long and none seemed to work well on my skin. This product leaves my skin SO soft and it actually lasts. I've been using it religiously for the past few weeks and I've never seen my skin so hydrated. This is it, honestly, I am so obsessed I am currently looking every product they have.

I really wanted to love this so badly

The product itself does exactly what it says, however my skin did not agree with it unfortunately. I am giving it away because I would hate for it to just sit and collect dust on my vanity. It broke my skin out to the point that people would stare and ask if I knew I had a rash all over my face and neck. I will say it is moisturizing! I love this brands entire line. This one product just did not work out for me personally. I would like to note that I do have sensitive skin. I wish I could attach the two pictures to show the breakout. Buyers just be careful if you have sensitive skin. Not sure how it reacts for others with normal skin. I wish I could return but I cannot find the box the product came in :(

I just received the item today but the box is already open When I received the box, I saw the sticker of the box was cut off, I opened it, I checked inside the box and I didn't see the bottle of Precleanse 5.1 . It has been lost. So I got angry and threw the box in the trash. The company said to send me back the lost bottle of PRECLEANSE 5.1 , but I have not seen my delivery. I really enjoy this face and neck cream. My skin tends to be dry and definitely needs more moisture, but I can be picky when it comes to face creams. I dislike the feeling of anything too heavy, greasy, or sticky. Worth every penny

I've been using this for a good few years now because it's the best product I've found for my sensitive, dehydrated, ageing skin. I pat it on and, for at least a little while, my skin feels plump and youthful again. I love that it seems to sink into my skin so there's no residue. Other moisturisers I've used seem to just sit on the skin so rubbing or scratching produces little balls of product. I wouldn't have considered this product without skin mapping as my first thought is reducing sensitivity. But, some of the irritation I get is gone because my skin is so much better hydrated. Highly recommended if it's right for your skin concerns.
