The colour can be applied dry and water added to the applied layers. Simply adjust the amount of water to producing varying dark to light tones. The fabric does not need to be pre-treated, simply apply the colour directly to the fabric, dissolve the pigment with water and allow to dry. Once dry, the colour will become permanent if all the colour has been fully dissolved/washed out and there are no pencil marks left on the fabric. The fabric should be hand washed, without detergent, at a cool temperature.
