Great product in general. It’s a bit tricky to manage cables in tray when you have two power outlets as each of them has long thick cable itself which leaves lack of room to hide cables/charger block for your equipment (problem is specific to mini desk, regular desks have long trays and plenty of room). But it’s doable.

A must for your L-shape or smaller desk purchase

I purchased the Mini to connect with my main cable management system and was able to connect all 3 power bars into each other. With only one cable running down the middle leg through the magnetic cable management piece and plugged into the wall. Hot tip, for those who aren’t use to the luxury of a stand/sit desk option… raise the desk up whenever you need to plug or unplug items! No more having to crawl under your dusty desk.

An easy fit (only made more difficult by me)

I'd bought another company's standing desk frame, at the time them having what I wanted to fit my own, custom top to (a non-standard 110cm wide and 60cm deep). Theoretically I think the Desky Integrated Cable and Power Channel would have *just* fit, but with my wooden top easy to screw into I thought best to go with this Mini (with four plugs). It was very easy to put together, connecting the power board ("Read the instructions, Marc") and would have been easy to attach with my 2mm drill if I'd turned the desk upside down and worked from above rather than below ("Follow the instructions, Marc").I've attached before and after photos, and you can see the way it completely neatens-up all those hanging cables. Attaching them to a rising and lowering desktop rather than affixing them riskily to the floor by one end also caters for my occasional lapses of judgement (I could see my speakers tumbling to the slate floor). I'm very happy with the result, especially as this new desk is moved into our lounge room where I'd like it to look like a neat piece of furniture rather than a workspace (which also gives me incentive to keep it neat).I think, if you know it fits, go for the Integrated Channel instead - its ability to swing down for access would be a little more convenient on those rare occasions you want to rearrange something. Also eight plugs wouldn't have hurt me, though four is sufficient (and, again, an incentive not to fill my desk with unnecessaries). But, in other cases, especially with a custom top when you're not sure, this ******* in one is easy and secure and does the job nicely. Neatly.I'd also note that when they rang me to say these items were of a size that they'd prefer couriered rather than Australia Posted to my PO Box, they were very sympathetic to my regional location (courier depot 2.5 hours return away) and without further question made the effort to get them into Australia Post instead. As a regional person so very often having to deal with "Australia-wide" couriers who are not (that is, all of them), or having to deal with "No PO Boxes" in online stores (even on envelope-sized items - I'm looking at you, Apple), it was a pleasant process to deal with an online company willing to no-problems deal with essential regional/rural needs. Thanks. Conclusion: When it comes down to the question, "Would I buy this again in the same circumstances?" (which is really the only review conclusion that matters), I'd say... absolutely, yes.[PS. For what it's worth in the photos you can also see the light bar on my monitor, and the floor mat at the bottom, both also bought from Desky (see reviews under those items if interested]

Definitely mini! A bit cramped but does what it needs to do!

This is a great add on to the return of an L desk for instance, the only problem is if it is placed on the smaller L desk it is right up against the edge which means you can't use some of the monitor arms. Notably, the Desky wone would fit fine. However, I had some previous ones I was using so I had to flip the orientation which makes it not really possible to access the open end as it is right against the rail support of the desktop. Since I was placing two power bricks from monitors, I had to place those in first before fixing it to the bottom of the desk. One thing Desky could improve is have specific integrated sockets that are optimized for the mini-integrated power tray because the socket cords take up most of the left-over room in the mini tray once you ... MoreThis is a great add on to the return of an L desk for instance, the only problem is if it is placed on the smaller L desk it is right up against the edge which means you can't use some of the monitor arms. Good product (with some caveats)
26 January 2024

This is a great high quality item and I'm glad I bought it but:- There is no video to help you install it on the mini dual desk. I had to rely on pictures on the website and other people's reviews.- The power bar is expensive and it appears to be a one-shot deal when you slide it into the tray. When I tried to remove it because I wanted to change it to the other side of the tray, the little plastic tabs broke.- One of the plugs will be blocked if you install the desk power block behind the desk frame middle bracket (as you need to if you got the smallest desktop size). I managed to avoid this issue by putting the power box in the tray itself.

Now you see it, then you don't...
14 August 2023

What can I say, the build quality is excellent. The mini cable tray has some heft to it and the power point inserts are well made.If you don't have a Desky desk on which their proprietary cable tray fits, then the mini is tray is what you want...particularly if like me, you're tired of kicking the rat's nest of cables at your feet. For anyone considering this product, keep in mind that you will need to drill three holes under your desktop to attach it. The screws that come with the kit, are about 18 mm long so your desktop must be at least 20 mm thick. And if there is only 2 mm difference be sure you wrap some masking tape around your drill bit to stop you from drilling through your desktop.

Second One is Even Better Than The First
28 April 2024

The smaller frame is terrific and the wheels make it easy to move from workstation to workstation. The cord tray and power outlets mean there is only one cord to worry about as we move the desk across the room. All of the other cords and wires are tucked away. The power centre, with its 4 USB ports allows for a much cleaner power system because no converters are required for cell phones and tablets. We moved the larger desk to the basement where it does double duty as a laundry folding and large snack table that can be raised out of the reach of pets.

Simple Solution Big Difference
27 January 2024

Purchased with the kids desk. It is a simple design for a perfect solution to the cables. Tucks neatly underneath and keeps all cabling to make a sleek and tidy look for my workstation. Very durable, made of high grade material.

Well built, easy installation but slightly too short
20 November 2022

I purchased 2x Desky Mini Cable & Power Tray, one with an 8-plug power connection and one without any power connection. The overall build quality is good and installation is straight forward. I found the length of each unit particularly the 8-plug version to be too short to house all my cables and adapters. It would be great if the unit can be made extendable or if a longer version was available.

Works well with the Air Lift Standing Desk
22 February 2024

I bought this cable tray to go with the Air Lift Standing Desk as an organization system does not come with this desk. The tray is easy to install and is a nice size for this desk. The colour matches the feet of the desk and blends in nicely. Overall, I am very pleased with this cable organizer!
