Devotion by Dolce & Gabbana for Women 3.3 oz EDP Spray (Tester)

This was a blind purchase. I bought the 50 ml and loved it so much that I bought two more 50 ml bottles. One for myself as a backup and one for my daughter because she loved mine so much. This is a true gourmand lovers' dream. It smells like iced lemon frosting on a vanilla butter cream cake. It is very similar to Lira. My bottle of Lira can rest now that i have two bottles of this scent, which is very, very close to Lira. It is divine, and the longevity is impressive. It also projects well without overwhelming others. I would personally wear this at night while going out or in the fall, although it can be worn anytime at all. It would be a bit heavy for a hot summer day. The bottle is absolutely beautiful.

A New Favorite

I really love this perfume, I'm re-entering my vanilla fragrance era and went into the store to try a few perfumes out and this was the winner by far! I'm also super picky with my fragrances so the fact that I bought this in a full size immediately after trying it out should tell you something. When first applied you get a lot of the lemon and orange blossom which gives the vanilla a nice citrusy fresh feel. The top notes do fade after a while but then you're left with this beautiful soft vanilla that lingers on the skin all day. I get a lot of longevity out of this perfume, the orange blossom and lemon notes don't last forever but if I get this on my jacket I still smell it the next day when I put my coat on to go to work. A Sicilian, Vanilla Dream

Devotion by Dolce & Gabbana is simply to die for. Frankly, I’ve never smelt anything quite so beautiful, and quite so long-lasting. This seductive fragrance features prominent notes of orange and vanilla. Upon the first spray, the citrus notes are most distinguishable. However, lovely scents of vanilla spread throughout the day, as it dries down. Like a sugary lemon-drop

Confession: I was gifted this from my Mom after telling her how much I loved the commercials on tv LOL. So this was a complete blind-buy. I'm typically a true-vanilla girl, so I was excited to see the base notes of vanilla listed. At first spray, this smells like a super sugary lemon drop shot. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it was definitely different! I find the dry down to be kind of powdery on me which I'm not really a fan of. I'm surprised other reviews haven't mentioned that because it's very apparent to me! If you like vanilla perfumes, I wouldn't reach for this first as it's definitely more citrusy than it is vanilla. As far as longevity, I am unable to smell this on myself after a couple hours which is a bummer. I read that it is supposed to smell like Panattone so I tested it again and got a blast of lemon akin to rinds baking in the oven. I nearly didn't purchase this. The intense lemon lasted about a half hour. I went ahead and got a travel size, which I am somewhat regretting because I really like this fragrance. The bottle is beautiful also. It does come out different every time I spray it. Both full size and travel size. Sometimes it is like the process of making Panettone and sometimes the Panettone itself and other times parts of the Panettone are missing, like the lemon. The lemon changes from strong rinds to sugar lemon to lemon pastilles each different day I use it. It has not been the sliced lemon jelly candies coated in sugar. Mostly more tart but still much sweetness to the opening. I crave the mid and dry down notes. Lightly warm, slightly dusty like cardamom or another spice and slightly gourmand. This is a more personal fragrance. I did notice that the travel spray is much lighter than the full size bottle maybe due to the amount in the spray, not sure. It does last at least 6 hours on me. I would categorize this as a lazy day, spa day or casual fragrance but it could be a nice bridal fragrance too.Not overwhelming for me except when the lemon gives a good smack. I do recommend this fragrance.

Most unique vanilla scent in my collection!

Packing is beautiful, bottle (both full and travel size) are stunning, smell is by far the most unique vanilla in my scent collection! I don't get the lemon note but I get the beautiful vanilla and orange blossom and the candied fruit note reslly comes through. Stunning. I initially tried it in an airport and was able to smell it strongly on my skin after 6 hours. Unfortunately I cannot say the same thing for the projection and longevity of the bottle that I purchased. It lasts maybe an hour on my skin and I have to refresh often if I want people around me to know I'm wearing it. Still one of my new favorites and although I believe it would work best as a winter scent (its a warm scent for sure), I cant wait to see what it smells like for summer!

Orange creamsicle

I got this perfume completely randomly, and I sprayed it, and I could not tell if I liked it or not I read the sense of candied citrus, orange Blossom vanilla, and that sounded right up my alley. I was looking for something warm and sweet, but I tend to clean citrus rather than super tasty. I kind of imagined like this would smell like wintertime suite someone's making orange cider or stringing candy oranges on a tree with vanilla in the air like very homey. That is not what smells like smells like an orange Creamsicle it's very sweet it's attention grabbing it powerful it's relatively simple but that's not necessarily a bad thing but the vanilla in this doesn't smell like a warm home vanilla it smells like an icecream like exactly. So while its not what i woudl usually pick for myself as a huge fas of imaginary authors and their smells that perspective really made me enjoy this, it will not become an everyday fragrance for me as its too sweet but its cute on a date or when you are going out and u want to feel sweet and cozy its a nostalgic scent that brings be back to eating orange creamicles in the summer but its deeper sp it can be worn all year round. I think this is perfect for those who enjoy prada candy or billie eilish or wanted one of the vanilla philosophy sense to be more intense

The perfect balance between citrus and vanilla!

I blind-bought the travel spray of this and loved it so much I just had to order the full size during the fragrance sale! This stuff is soooooo nice. It’s a delicious, creamy, sweet, citrusy scent. Very soft and sugary and feminine without being “cheap” smelling or too juvenile. I feel so pretty when I wear it. I find it has nice staying power without being too overwhelming. It’s a wonderful balance of the notes, it’s not OVERLY citrus but it’s not OVERLY vanilla either. It’s the perfect orange creamsicle scent I’ve been looking for. I will also say it pairs extremely well layered with Killian’s Love Don’t Be Shy.

I absolutely love Devotion. It's a stunning unique scent perfect for spring & summer. Immediately when sprayed you get a blast of lemon/orange shortly after maybe about 10 minutes the warm vanilla notes come through. It reminds me of an orange cream popsicle from when I was a kid but a sexy grown version. If that makes sense. It really doesn't lol which is what makes it so unique. I LOVE this fragrance and would easily be my number 1 scent in my collection. The ONLY down fall is I literally have to go in very close to smell this addictive scent. For it to smell as lovely as it does I wish it was much louder. It's not a scent that will grab everyone's attention when you walk in the room like YSL Libre.
