I bought one of these sturdy fellas as it looked better able to cope with rougher handling than my Fat Max one. It is good and strong, but when I checked the bubble alignment before starting, it was a bit off. I returned it for another and that was out too.I re-checked several times and it was definitely out. Not by much, but enough to mess jobs up if using in conjunction with a longer straight edge.It could've just been a bad batch and I may well try again.

I bought the 24, 48, and 72 inch levels sight unseen several years ago. They are very substantial. However, the surfaces are not machined smooth and the edges are chamfered. This makes using them as a straightedge with a pencil not so good. I also wish the plumb vial was closer to the middle. The two smaller ones have magnets but not the 72 incher

I bought one and the machinig was not even with places that wear smooth and lower than other spots so ordered another and same thing .... a level needs to have straight edges.

I have the 9in, 24in, and 48in box levels and I just purchased this one to complete my set. I am a handyman and use these quite often. They each have magnets in them to help hold onto ferrous "magnetic" surfaces. They are pretty solid and have a nice bevel on the bottom which helps to hold and level pipes or on corners for vertical X Y on Z axis. This level doesn't have it, but I especially like the adjustment my 9" level has for those jobs that require true but are not on level surfaces. Overall, for this level, I'd rate it a 5* and highly recommend to most anyone performing just about any job out there requiring a good quality, ridged, and true level that is lightweight.
The dewalt brand hooked me in for this but after using it to help lay a patio I’m glad I went for this chunk of a spirit level.This is the type of tool that easily gets bashed about and used for things it may not have been designed for, like supporting a cup of tea between two walls keeping it in easy reach, so it’s good to see that will hold up to all jobs, easy or hard.Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but it’s one of those tools that will be there for years to come, so it’s worth the investment.
Great level, chunky and robust. Exactly what my partner was looking for. Strong compared to the generic levels which sometimes bend. Handy hole for carrying too.

This level is well built, really solid and reliable.One good thing is that the bubble actually goes to the lines so easy to find your levelsCentre bubble is really easy to view as there is a little cut out.Solid rubber ends make that bit more durable.It’s also really bright too so you can’t miss it.Great bit of kit. Highly recommend.
This level cost me $80. Its worth every penny. I doubt you can find any level at this price thats its equal. Its a Great heavy duty level and VERY accurate. This is a pro quality tool. I tried a starrett 6 foot level before this one. In comparison, the starrett is a cruel joke. Its much less well built and NOT accurate. I returned that one. Who needs a 6 foot level thats not accurate? Ive used starrett measuring tools for 40 years. Generally they are the gold standard of measuring tools. The starrett 6 foot level is a sellout of their fine reputation. If you can afford the price, Its a great investment in your tool inventory.
