DeWalt 18V Brushless 165mm Circular Saw - Tool Only DCS565N-XJ

I purchased the big brother of this saw with184mm about 18 months ago however working on sites prefer lighter version you get more cuts per batteries too. feels well balanced in hand has a light and you can see the blade if you are right handed. well recommended.

Small saw for small jobs. Powerful enough to cut 3x2 or 4x2 or sheets of wood .Please do not expect that to go thru massive chunky wood!Very light, taking a while to drawn 5aH battery. Good value for money

Better than my corded makita

Nice and light, cuts great I have a corded makita skill saw and this cordless cuts better. The only thing I would say that the Guard could do with being metal but that's just preference. Still a great little saw.

Brilliant

Been using Makita for years and had a few circular saws, the Dewalt out performs. Makita feels smoother but Dewalt lasts longer and a lot more robust. Can use blades longer and flex volt batteries last forever when cutting softwood.

Christmas cracker quality

I’m a professional builder, with many battery power tools. Unfortunately I find this saw poorly made. NO GOOD for dewalt . Ok the blade covers a flimsy plastic, that worries me and the Gide bends every time you secure it. It was bent out of shape when I opened the box from new. My brushless makita, runs rings around this Christmas cracker quality tool. Dewalt stop being so cheap and fit quality goods on your tools. I’m going to send it back, it’s not upto my standard of professional tools.

Treated myself to this after using a cheap B&Q circular saw for years. What an upgrade! No longer feel like I'm going to lose a limb each time I use it. Highly recommended

Excellent for DIYer and probably holds up professionally too

Excellent sale price for brushless longevity and efficiency. Cuts accurate to the guide and sailed through chipboard kitchenware like butter. Relatively clean cut too considering the supplied blade is general use and not fine cut. Dust extraction design seems an improvement over the previous model, but it still doesn't catch as much as I'd like. I like the rafter hook for storage. Electric brake great for safety.

Good quality circular saw

As with all DeWalt items, the DCS565 circular saw is a quality product that is easy to use. My previous saws have had the cutting blade on the right so was odd at first to switch to the left side. That said it is actually easier to use and see the cut lines being right handed. The included blade is very sharp and cuts through chipboard like the proverbial knife through butter. So far am impressed with the performance. Recommended.

Good solid saw

It has a nice solid feel to it. The blade brake is excellent. The fence has a little wiggle but not enough to be a problem. Nicely balanced in the hand and quieter than my makita 240v equivalent.

Great circular for the price. Really powerful

Good piece of kit for the price.( offer) don’t think it’s worth the full retail price but when it’s on offer it’s worth it all day. Like the fact how it’s got a task light and it’s brushless which makes a hell of the difference cutting compared to dcs391. Nice solid feel to it aswell
