Good product but not really suited to a retired person with diminishing physical strength. Found it difficult to handle as not much to hold on to. I need a holding handle half way down the shaft. I should have done more research to realise the product is not overly suited to people who are waning in physical strength. In most ways, the issues are of my creation rather than the machine.

This is a great product. Very light and easy to use. Just one comment is that the head is a bit wobbly.
Does exactly what I wanted it to do. Great performance, great length
I'm getting a bit on and needed a tool that would allow me to reach across wide hedges safely. This fits the bill perfectly and a lot safer when standing on top of a ladder. Also with the long reach its easier to get a good level cut. Machine itself is the usual DeWalt quality and cuts well, I have two batteries and rotate them, by the time one is low the other is charged up, so no issue there.
Brocken at weak point of swivel very poor design, have many dewalt battery tools this only one with problem.
Good pole trimmer, it is surprising how fast it does hedge trimming etc jobs. A small battery will last long enough to do work around the house and the trimmer has enough power to get through thicker branches. Even though it is light and you can do a lot of work very quickly with it, the arms soon get tired if you are reaching up or out with it a lot.
The clamp in the middle with the silver pole showing either side makes it look like it has a build in extension it does not.
Works really well and handy to use same battery as my existing leaf blower.
