Powerful drill: it drills into stone without effort.Please note that DCB547 weigths a lot (as expected) and drill+battery is an heavy combination. I wanted a 18v/54v battery because it can be interchanged with more powerful tools. I still don't know how many drills I can perform with a single charge: attached to a drill, it looks that will last forever.

The power of this drill is marvellous, even with the bigger 9Ah battery it weighs les than my old drill. feels great in my hand, and so far it has handled everything with ease. Brick, Masonry, Wood, and driving in screws. Very good Drill, slightly more expensive than some other models but I feel it is an investment rather than a purchase, as I'm expecting years of use from this drill

I bought this drill to replace an aging xr model. i went for the 9ah battery version as we use our cordless drills to mix latex screed on site, so a large capacity battery was an ideal choice. luckily i still have the old batteries from the previous drill as the only negative about this item is that the 9amp battery is huge and heavy, if you don't need the extra capacity just bare that in mind.
Drill was delivered several days before due date, that worked out great as my old drill gave up so was in need of one quick.Drill its self is the best cordless I have owned , 3 speed and good power and super long life in the battery.I looked at other makes but glad I stuck with the DeWalt, very happy and thanks again for great service .
Powerful Cordless machine. You can feel the power when you operate the drill. I haven't used it till the battery dies so I am yet to see how long the 9.0Ah battery will last. So far, I am impressed.
I used the drill for the first time yesterday and it performed exceptionally well. It is very powerful and well designed overall. It is a bit heavy with 9Ah battery attached but that is to be expected.
Very good service. I have always owned Makits cordless power tools.I have since started replacing all my Makita for dewalt tools, very pleased.
Solid bit of kit, the 9Ah battery is a little heavy for prolonged use, maybe better to have a couple of 4Ah packs. For the cost I expected the case as per the picture, but I'll live with it. Overall happy
Very high spec battery drill bought to finish bathroom refit. The new Flexvolt battery means this drill is far more powerful and runs for far longer than my current 18V battery drills. The drill still takes the smaller 18V Li-ion DeWALT batteries so is very versatile. It has a mechanical three speed gearbox, electronic speed control and a very good hammer action so can drill virtually anything. Except for drilling very hard stone/lintels I don't think my SDS mains drill will get much use now. The charger is fairly noisy but charges very rapidly. In all very pleased with purchase.
