It works as you would expect an 18v cordless grinder to work. Not quite as fast as the 56v or the mains version. Fine for the odd padlock and touching up a weld or two. Not really for all day use chopping up angle iron - best suited to fettling.

well happy with this, i bought a 5a battery separately and the work time has been superb. Ideal for quick 'slitting' jobs, but also worked well with a flappy pad for sanding some timber. Great tool

Very handy being cordless but eats batteries for fun, you need to have at least a couple of 4 or 5ah,mine came with an Allen key (has no Allen bolts) but no key to change blades ! and the case is just an empty generic t-stak So wouldn't recommend paying the extra for the case.
I just love this new XR cordless angle grinder. It's light has plenty of power and the run time is plenty for the sort of jobs you are likely to use it on. It's so convenient to just grab and use. I will always have one now!
Dont know why they give a hex key (Allen key) with the grinder as there are no Allen bolts - but there there is no locking tool for tightening up the actual grinder blade
As all dewalt tools . Tough and reliable
The best part with the pick up procedure. Very easy and reliable. Ready on time for pick up. I’m a switchboard builder and the quality hasn’t let me down. Impressive
Happy with it and wouldn't see the need on getting the latest one, especially as this one has a hand guard, which i like personally.
great little tool , lost key to two large padlocks cut through them in seconds , well impressed , handy for cutting out conduits etc . definitely a tool worth having even if your not using daily!!!!!
