I recently bought one of these for the company that I work for. I have what I thought was the compairable model to this grease gun, a Milwaukee. Id would rather use a hand pump gun over this hunk of junk. The one thing this pile is good at is nothing. It leaks when it sits, its slow, it has zero power to power through a clogged zerk. I wish I would have went with my gut and spent more money on batteries and a grease gun from Milwuakee. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased this due to the having to grease different types of bearings and motors. I have rheumatoid arthritis and pumping grease by hand is tough when I have flair ups. It is easy to use and easy to prime. I love it and look forward to many years of use with it. It seems very powerful and even has a light that comes in handy in dark areas

Makes a dirty job much easier. Wish I had one years ago. I have other Dewalt tools and have batteries and a charger. Batteries must be bought locally in Hawaii, the prohibition has to do with shipping by air. This lube gun is so much better, that putting off lubing because it's so awkward is not longer an issue. Also recommend putting on a lock n lube long nose tip. Also a huge improvement. Love the combo. More than worth the money.

Then I bought another, larger, tractor and a new tandem axel trailer and realized this was insanity. So I took the plunge and bought this tool. I already own a full set of DeWalt power tools so I opted for the tool only. This grease gun is built to the same standards that all you can expect from all other DeWalt tools. It's a hefty tool but it's got a nice shoulder strap to offset the weight. Also, the long hose allows you to reach tough spots and set the tool on the ground if need be. I have had no problem with purging any air from the gun---which is easily accomplished with the bleed valve. In my first day of ownership I greased two tractors, a 12-foot flexwing bushhog, and two sets of trailer axels and I could have done more. Definitely worth buying if you like being productive.
I have had this Grease Gun for at least three years and it still pumps grease faster than I can with a pump system.It will put grease in any grease fitting that you can get the grease head on.Plenty of power to drive the grease home.Not too heavy , easy to carry.CONS: No Shuttle Grease Tube System or at least a kit to retrofit an already purchased grease gun.My biggest problem is not DeWalt's fault, it is leaking grease in the barn... I bag the end now but a sealed system would be a nice add-on.Also, I now use the LockNLube Grease Head.

My conventional hand-pump grease gun was able to push grease into only a few fittings. I decided to buy this cordless grease gun since it was rated up to 10,000 PSI. I was able to push grease into about half of the fittings. After carefully removing the remaining grease fittings, I found they were completely blocked with dried grease and rust. I replaced the rusted fittings and tried greasing again. The pump bogged down at first, and pumped grease out of the safety bypass. After a few cycles the grease began pumping through the fitting and into the dry hinge joints. This grease gun is a brute. I highly recommend it over a conventional hand-pump ... so I ordered a new Dewalt DCGG571 20v Grease gun. When it arrived I put the box in my shop to open later. In a few days i opened only to find that it had been used. There was grease all over the hose and the housing. The grease chamber was half full of grease. I will never order anything from you guys again, I cant believe you sent me a used gun, when i ordered a new one.
