This is my new favourite tool that I am using a lot more than expected. It is not heavy and makes light work of drilling holes in the stone and brick we are working with.

Every bit as good as my old corded SDS with the added benefit of chisel mode which worked brilliantly breaking up mortar and brick work

Excellent quality product. Had previously been using a cheap and cheerful 230V SDS for DIY use, but now I'm working in the construction industry I needed something cordless, less clumsy, and better quality, and this fits the bill. Plenty of power, feels good to use, and while it's suitable for tasks where a certain amount of precision is required, it's still powerful enough for heavier work too.

This is probably the best/most useful Drill I have ever bought!lightweight, good hammer blows both for drilling and chisellingno mains lead to worry about.used it for a 28mm masonry drill ....1 metre long.(It does eat batteries though, don't consider anything less than 4 Ah battery, it won't last otherwise!)
I have become a Dewalt XR diy junky. I have drilled hundreds of holes with my combi drill but realised that real men need an SDS hammer drill for eating straight through brick walls. This didn't nearly disappoint. My 6th XR power tool.
Dewalt defiantly do a better drill than this, but it is relatively cheap
Plenty of power, nice balance and a decent price, with a 3 year warranty. Makes drilling lintels less of a chore.
The drill is well made and lightweight. It is very powerful being Dewalt it is good quality. It has 3 settings normal rotation; rotating snd hammer, and no rotation with hammer action for demolition.
Bought the SDS drill as the standard percussion drill wasn’t up to the Job of drilling large holes through a 13” wall. This drill cut through brick like a knife cutting through butter. I wish I had spent my money on this drill and not bought the percussion drill first. The only issue I had was the battery ran flat fairly quickly. I had 3 amp. Recommend using a bigger battery if you can afford it.
