Excellent quality product. Had previously been using a cheap and cheerful 230V SDS for DIY use, but now I'm working in the construction industry I needed something cordless, less clumsy, and better quality, and this fits the bill. Plenty of power, feels good to use, and while it's suitable for tasks where a certain amount of precision is required, it's still powerful enough for heavier work too.

I have become a Dewalt XR diy junky. I have drilled hundreds of holes with my combi drill but realised that real men need an SDS hammer drill for eating straight through brick walls. This didn't nearly disappoint. My 6th XR power tool.

The drill is well made and lightweight. It is very powerful being Dewalt it is good quality.It has 3 settings normal rotation; rotating snd hammer, and no rotation with hammer action for demolition.

Finally went cordless for an SDS+ drill and saved me so much time. No extension cables and can use it where before i would use a lightweight drill and get the job done quicker. Already had 5ah batteries and fast charger so this was a no brainer, wish i'd done it sooner
Went for a lighter SDS drill and was concerned that it wouldn't have the power for more strenuous tasks. Shouldn't have worried as it multiple 8 inch holes 14mm wide in reinforced concrete took seconds. Highly recommended and battery life is excellent.
Already have the batteries and charger and years of good use from various Dewalt tools. I have a full size breaker for the heavy stuff and a 12 kg sds breaker/drill which was getting too heavy to lift to shoulder height for wall fixings. Amazed at the DCH133NT, lightweight certainly, heavyweight in performance. Drilling 16mm x 25 cm holes for rebar dowels, 5mm holes for concrete screws, M12 for drop in chemical anchors and hammer only for levelling ridges in old concrete slab to take steel mesh for pouring new slab on top.Dewalt say only for light chiselling etc but eats fibre reinforced concrete for fun.
Excellent drill. Have a corded SDS drill but it is very heavy. Channeling walls for electrical cable was proving hard work. Ordered this, and with speedy delivery, it made the job far easier. Very impressed with the performance.
Great piece of kit lightweight and easy to handle and very effective at drilling and chiselling. Only complaint was the I had to buy the charger and battery separately and expensively, obviously it is useless without it and it should have been possible to have a starter kit alongside kit for previous DeWalt users
Plenty of power to drill the holes you need, break up large bits of masonry, and chisel off adhesive and plaster in a smaller form factor than the big model. Less expensive, too. I just cored a 5-inch/127mm hole through a brick/block wall for an air vent with mine!
This is the third Dewalt power tool in my growing XR collection as I am in the process of replacing my ageing Japanese brand tools. It is powerful, lightweight even with a 4A XR battery, ergonomic and well-constructed as you would expect from this manufacturer. I think this is probably the best sub 100 SDS when compared to other well-known brands. It does the job for my semi-pro requirements.
