Before opening i find that the case is a nice feature to this tool set. It is nicely made and keeps tools in there place for transport or storage. The case also is stackable with the size of the sockets inset in the front of the case. As for the ratchet i love the 72 tooth gearing as this comes in handle when in tight spaces, less likely to bust your knuckles. Quality is up there with the best and i know there are thousand of different types of sockets, but i would recommend this set to anyone. I have confidence knowing this set will be past on to my children.

Bought this set for my daughter who just started out on her own and will likely never do any heavy duty repair work. This is a perfect set for her: good quality tools that will last for a life time for some basic work here and there. I tried them out on some simple car repair work; everything worked wonderfully. The point is that this is not some "cheap, throw away" stuff which quickly ends up in the landfills. The only improvement I wish for this set is for a heavier duty box; the tool box cover may not last as long as these tools.

I have had this set for a week now, I use it for heating and air-conditioning. This is a great every day used socket set. With sockets from 5/32 all the way up to 7/8 and 5 mm to 19 mm. Also comes with small extension, and 3/8 to 1/4 adapter. Also comes with drill bit adapter. Very nice organize case with see-through cover so you can see that all your sockets are in place. You can also pull the insert out to put in the larger toolbox if need be. Love the fact that I can stack it with other Dewalt stuff. Well I say it every day socket set, there is no deep sockets. Has a hassle free lifetime warranty, what more could you ask for!
As a carpenter by trade I generally don’t need a lot of sockets on hand daily which makes this set perfect for my truck, it has just enough of a verity in standard/metric to handle most tasks. The sockets are all six point, well stamped and easy to read. The ratchet it’s self is well made with a great feel in the hand. Plus it Is not easily bumped out of the desired direction, like others I’ve owned. The design of the case is great everything stays put.it is very easy to take sockets in and out. If you are looking for a small all around set this is it.
I’m a professional mechanic and let me say: These tools are tough! I love the range of sockets. Having a 7/8” by 3/8 drive can get in some hard places. The ratchet is smooth, heavy duty and has little play inside the teeth so you know its going to ratchet in tight spaces. The box it comes in is shatter proof and feels quite sturdy. The bit driver attachment comes in handy for using these tools with a range of equipment. Overall i’d put these up there with some of my more expensive sockets from the tool trucks but for a fraction of the cost! Don’t sleep in these!
I needed a small set of sockets to keep in my truck tool box. The set ranges from 5mm to 19mm and then 5/32” all the way up to 7/8”. These sockets have a nice chrome polish which makes them easy to clean off when they get dirty. They are also etched near the base to give them a bit of grip when you need it. The ratchet is my favorite piece of this set. It’s got some weight behind it and just feels stout which gives me some reassurance when I’m really torquing something down. The set comes in a molded case but the inner tray can be taken out if you need to utilize room for more stuff. My only complaint is while the outside walls of the sockets are polished nicely, the insides haven’t... which can make keeping those sockets clean a little more difficult. As most of you know when working on modern cars the only time you really can use a 1/2 ratchet is on tires, the rest of the engine forces you to use 3/8 tools because everything is so compact. This has forced me to be very picky on certain brands, the one that are very slim and narrow hurt my hands with all the force used. This 3/8 set is well built, thick handles won’t dig into your hands after a big project and I love six sided sockets more area to prevent stripping out items. Great kit, the only thing I would change is all the snaps to open the kit.
sockets don't have a ton of variation to them, but what variation there is is very well executed here, nice knurling, clear marking,s great stuff. Where this set really comes into its own is with the ratchet handle. The handle is incredibly satisfying to hold in your hand, well balanced, good feel even in a large hand, but not bulky. The ratchet mechanism is smooth with almost no backlash at all. The carrying case is great, and if you need more space you can pull the liner tray out and use it as a large open box, way better than a single use case with wasted space. All round just a great quality set that's nice to work with, highly recommend.
Very nice set with good features. I like the heavy duty case that has the removable tray and deep molded socket storage so that things aren't moving around during transport. Was a nice surprise that it came with a 1- 3/8 in. to 1/4 Drive Adaptor. The ratchet is nice having 72 teeth for close quarters use, never realized how much easier this makes things in tight spaces. The ratchet also grips the sockets snugly with an easy release. This is a good all around set that I will have for years to come.
