Needed to get thru some tree roots in my backyard that were beyond the reach of my 100' cord. Perfect excuse to pick this saw up! I put a 12' pruning blade on it... the rest is history. It came with a free 2ah battery. If you're making more than a few cuts, have a backup, she's hungry!

My uncle was a professional carpenter. He told me years ago that Dewalt reciprocating saws were the best ever made. I bought my first one about 15 years ago. My dewalt 18v cordless still works as good today as the day I bought it new. Plenty of power and holds up under any working conditions. I'll never buy anything other than Dewalt!

Just as powerful as my corded sawzall. I've been replacing all my corded tools with cordless as the quality improves. Now convenience is the most important feature...
Sawzall works great only issue for me is was on the heavy side ,heavy duty. It will nice to have a retractable hook, to hook on ladder ,or 2x lumber
BRAND NEW OUT OF BOX. WHAT YOU SEE ON THE PICTURES IT IS WHAT YOU GET. FOR THE SHIPPING WE ONLY USE USPS BOXES OR PADDED BAGS As you can see it says brand new out of box but had 20-30 scuffs all over it. Not happy with it. If it has scuffs on it. Dont advertise it as brand new out of box.
I have used DeWalt tools for years.. Typically use the 20 V reciprocating saw. A few years ago I started using the 60 V flex volt tools. Like other 60 V flex volt tools - this one is much more powerful than the 20v tool. There is a noticeable difference in power. Ebay is a very good place to buy this tool. I paid $140. Price was $300 at both local large hardware and home supply stores.
Got a good price. Didn't realize that it was a 60V tool only. Thought it was a Flexvolt. My mistake Not a deal breaker, just a minor inconvenience. Haven't tested it's toughness yet, I expect it to perform as needed like all my other Dewalt tools.Wht
Really please with this saw, it is a bit heavy for shoulder or above cutting but it also absorbs a lot of vibration because of the weight. I enjoy the long life of the battery saw combination. I have worked this saw very hard and it keeps going for more. Keep sharp blades on it and it will not let you down.
In my collection of DeWalt power tools, the 20 Volt Sawsall has come to be my favorite! From cutting bushes up to 2" thick (much safer than using a chain saw), to cutting below the ground to eliminate roots and kill them, nothing stops the Reciprocating Saw if I'm using the proper blade. Using the Reciprocating Saw l to remove trees and brush from the fence line makes it safe and simple. I always wear gloves and glasses for safety.
